I’m good at + V-ing. 难点:Correct use of verb-ing form after be good at. 教学过程 Step 1 Warm up: Creating Interest 5分钟 1. Show the main picture of Unit 1. Let students guess the topic in Unit 1 according to the pictures. T: Maybe the topic is _________ . Ss:Sports Read and learn the word---sports 设计意图:看图猜测单元主题,培养学生读图能力,并于本单元建立情境联系。 2. Free talk T: Do you like sports? What sports do you like? (Chinese is OK) Ss: I like … T: You’re good at… 3. Learn the phrase---be good at 擅长 4. Learn the sentence I'm good at... 设计意图:通过自由交流的方式拉近与学生的距离,同时用本课主要句型提问学生们擅长的体育运动,既创设情境,又可以分散难点。 Step 2 Presentation 1. Learn the new phrases and sentences(5分钟) 1) Guess the sport the teacher is good at according to the prompts. T: You can use “What sports are you good at?” to ask the sports you are good at. 2) Students find the grammar rule of "be good at + doing" by observing the sentence (学生归纳:动词ing) 3) Game: Whack-a-mole打地鼠 设计意图:动作具象化语法规则。学生自主归纳语言规律。用趣味游戏化巩固词汇。 2. Text Analysis (10分钟) 1) Picture Prediction Show the picture of Lesson 1(cover text). 2) Ask: “Who are they?
