Hello, everyone! Here is the latest news: A taxi hit a truck. A policeman asked the taxi driver,
the truck driver and the witness (目击证人) Bill about the details. Here are their statements.
TAXI DRIVER
On my way home, I was driving behind the truck a few kilometers from Cheyenne. Suddenly,
the truck stopped without any warning or signal. I was driving at 80 and the distance (距离) was too
short to stop my car. I thought about passing the truck of course, but there were two cars coming
close at a high speed from Cheyenne. And it would be very dangerous to do that. So I had to try to
slow down the speed. However, it was all of such a sudden that my taxi hit the truck, and some
pieces of glass cut my right hand.
TRUCK DRIVER
I was leaving the airport (飞机场) for Cheyenne. Two rabbits jumped out and crossed the road.
I was nervous so I took the brake (刹车) to slow down my truck to avoid hitting the rabbits. Then the
taxi hit the back of my truck. Nobody was seriously hurt, but the taxi was broken.

Being angry is very normal in our life. However, anger is not a good feeling at all. It can make
us feel uncomfortable and get in bad moods. And most people choose to hide (隐藏) their anger. A
research shows that this can seriously affect our health.
Is it helpful for us to shout or break things when we get angry? The research tells that when we
deal with our anger like this, it would be hard for us to get on well with the people around us. The
more time we keep angry, the worse result we’ll get. We should deal with our anger in a proper way.
Here are some tips.
First, be clear about what made us angry. Anger can be caused by lots of feelings such as fear,
disappointment and so on. Second, pay more attention to those everyday things that may make us
angry. A great way to deal with anger is to talk about it. The study shows that if we name our
feelings, we can calm ourselves down and feel better. What’s more, taking a deep breath or doing
some physical exercise such as jogging (慢跑) and swimming can also help us deal with anger.
If we learn to deal with anger, we will be happier and our life will be better.

How to keep safe
As a student, we should know that keeping safe is important to us. But how do we do that? Here
are some of my suggestions.
First, we should be careful when we make friends, especially online. Second,we must pay
attention to the traffic and traffic signals around us,what’s more,we must obey the traffic rules when
we riding. Also, we should eat healthily and safely. Eating healthy food is good for our health. Third,
if we are in danger, we must call the police for help in time so that we can keep ourselves safe. Last
but not least, summer is coming, and we must remember it’s dangerous to swim in the river.
In a word, safety must come first, the best way to be safe is to be careful!
