记叙文——写一则有关语言误解的故事

本单元的写作任务是写一篇故事类短文，体裁为记叙文。有时是根据所提供的一幅或几幅图的信息写短文，有时是根据所提供的文字信息写短文。

第一部分：简要交代故事的背景、时间、地点或人物等

1．There was an interesting experience happening in 2024, which I still remember now.

2．Up to now, I still remember one embarrassing thing which happened years ago.

3．Yesterday was my classmate Fred's birthday and I was invited to have dinner at his home with some other classmates.

第二部分：误解产生的细节、原因等

1．Seeing we were puzzled, he gave us further explanation about the matter.

2．We were quite confused/puzzled when he told us to take the lift down one floor.

3．To my astonishment/surprise, he told me his sister was “wicked”．

第三部分：故事的结局，即消除误解、总结或评论

1．It turned out that the word meant “nice” rather than “bad”．

2．Only when he explained this term could I understand that he was trying to find his friends.

3．Since then，I have paid more attention to the use of English idioms.

4．Since then, I decided to work hard to improve my English.
