Have + 一段时间+ off 放多长时间的假 off 在此处用作副词，意为“不上课；休息；不工作” 。 We had five days off this month. 这个月我们放了五天假。 5. have fun 玩得高兴；有乐趣 其同义短语为 have a good time 或 enjoy oneself. 6. watch 的用法 watch sb./sth. do sth. 观看某人或某物做某事 强调看到了动作的全过程或该动作经常发生 They watched us plant the trees. 他们看我们栽树。 watch sb./sth. doing sth. 观看某人或某物正在做某事 强调看到的动作正在进行 I watched him performing on the stage. 我看他在台上表演。 7. somewhere interesting 某个好玩的地方 形容词修饰 somewhere , anywhere 和 nowhere 等副词或something, anything 和somebody 等不定代词时，应后置。 Can we go somewhere warm ? 我们能不能去个暖和的地方？ 8. as soon as 一.....就..... 引导时间状语从句 She stopped talking as soon as her mother came into the room. 她妈妈一进入房间，她就停止了交谈。 注意：主句是一般将来时，从句用一般现在时表将来。 I’ll call you as soon as I arrive at the railway station. 我一到火车站就会给你打电话。 【练习巩固】 1. —Could you tell me when the People’s Republic of China was f ? —Of course.
