三、重点语法
(1) 副词的构成规则,本单元主要学习“形容词+ly”变为副词
(1)一般情况下,词尾+ly
(2)双音节、多音节,以y结尾的词,变 y 为 i+ly;例如:happy,heavy,easy
(3)以 ll结尾的形容词,直接+y
注意:①有些单词虽然包含 ly 结构,但本身是形容词。如 friendly、lovely、lonely、elderly 等。
②有一部分单词既是形容词又是副词。如hard、early、fast、high等,可在文中灵活地充当形容词或副词。
(2) 连词
连词(conjunction,缩写为conj.)是一种虚词,它不能独立担任句子成分,而只起连接词与词,短语与短语以及句与句的作用。
(1)and “和,并且”连接并列关系的项
(2)or “或者”连接选择关系的项;否则。在否定句和疑问句中把and改为or
(3)but “但,但是”表示转折关系,用来引出相反意见或不同情况
(4)because“因为”表示因果关系,表原因
(5)so “所以”表示因果关系,表结果
