During grammar exploration, students successfully identified patterns through guided questions. However , some students had difficulty using“some” and“any”pronouns correctly in different contexts.Pair and group activities boosted participation, but time management could improve. Overall, the lesson achieved its goals, but more practice in real-life contexts is needed to enhance accuracy.

Teaching Reflection
In this lesson,I used lots of photos to introduce Yulong Mountain, the old town of Lijiang and the
steamed chicken soup. Students were really interested in the cultural content of this lesson. Meanwhile,I used questions to connect the conversation with the students' own lives, which made them think more about how to make their holidays meaningful. However,I still noticed some problems. When some students were talking about their own holiday experiences, I found their expressions were quite simple. They couldn't organize the sentences well. In order to offer these students more help,I will provide a word bank for holiday activities and design exercises using
conjunctions to improve the sentence structures.

Teaching Reflection
This is the first English class of the new term and students have just finished their summer
holidays. The topic of this listening-talking lesson is just about holiday activities,so they can quickly be involved in the class and talk about their own holiday experiences. However, most of them forgot to use the simple past tense at the beginning of the talk. Luckily, they gradually recalled the use of the simple past tense after my reminding. The listening material is not too difficult for most of them,so I didn't design many step-by-step tasks. In the part of the pronunciation, they did well. I should prepare more additional materials for them to practise.
