(3)Try to study and remember information bit by bit instead of waiting until the last minute to study everything at once. (4)If you like music, you can learn English by listening to English songs. (5)Well, I practice my listening by listening to the tape over and over again until I can understand everything. 【情感态度价值观目标】 教育学生学习如何学习和找到正确的学习英语的方法。克服困难,取得巨大进步。并能向他人介绍自己好的学习方法及习惯,针对学习过程中的困难能给出解决的办法。 教学重点 1.掌握本课时的重点短语与句型; 2.掌握“verb+by doing”结构; 3.能用英语介绍自己的英语学习经验;为他人提供建议。 教学难点 能够学会如何处理问题。 教学准备 设计并制作课文中所涉及的图片、教学幻灯片。 教 学 过 程 Step 1:Revision 1.Review the phrases and sentences.Get the students to translate the phrases and sentences into English. (14)How do you study for a test? (15)I study by working with a group. 2.Let the students read aloud the passage in 2b. 3.Let the students review the good habits about learning English. Step 2:Work on 3a 1.Let the students work in groups and do a summary about good ways of learning English. 2.Let the students write three best ways and give their reasons.Then give examples. 3.Ask the students to fill in the chart on their own,and then encourage them to share their ideas with their classmates.Ask and answer questions with your partners and write down the results in the chart in 3a. If you like music, you can learn English by listening to English songs. 2.Reading English books If you read English books that are well-written and show good use of the language, you can learn many new words and see how they are used. 3. If you like to read, you can learn English by reading well-known storybooks like Harry Potter or simplified versions of famous books like Pride and Prejudice. 3.Watching English movies If you watch English movies, you can practice listening to natural speech and you can use the storyline, body language, actions and facial expressions to improve your understanding. If you like to watch movies, you can learn English by watching popular movies like Hunger Games and Kung Fu Panda. Step 3:Work on 3b 1.Ask the students to write a letter using their notes in 3a. 2.Ask the students to check their work with each other. Step 4:Writing Write a letter to your friend. Give him /her some advice about the best ways to learn English. Use your notes in 3a.
