1.Ask students to think about two questions before they read the articles.
(1)Do you often exercise?Why or why not?
(2)Do you think your lifestyle is healthy?Why or why not?
2.Invite some students to share their ideas.
Step 3 While⁃reading
1.Ask students to read the articles quickly and answer these two questions.
(1)What is important for Kitty?
To keep fit is important for Kitty.
(2)What does Daniel think he needs to do now?
He thinks he needs to change his lifestyle now.
2.Ask one student to show the answers and check the answers.
3.Ask students to read the text again and finish the task in A and B.
4.Read the text sentence by sentence and explain the language points to make students understand the meaning of the text.

本课时是阅读课的第一课时,先通过让学生谈论自己的饮食习惯与生活方式,激发学生的学习兴趣;再学习文章,掌握文章中的重要知识点,以此来培养学生的阅读能力。课后,学生可多进行阅读练习,这样获得信息的能力就会不断提高,阅读能力也会随之提高。
