第三课时 Reading (2) ◇目标导航◇ 类别 课时要点 重点句型 1.I would like to tell you about my school life.我想告诉你关于我的学校生活。 2.It is interesting to visit fun places.参观好玩的地方是很有趣的。 教学重点 1.让学生掌握would like的用法。 2.让学生能够介绍自己和他人的学校生活。 教学难点 运用已学知识,描述自己及他人的学校生活。 ◇教学过程◇ Step 1 Leading in 1.Review the words and phrases in the last class. 2.Invite some students to read the passage in the last class to prepare for today’s lesson. Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Give students one minute to review the words and phrase in the box in C and then ask students to read them. 2.Let students scan the text first and then ask them to complete Tommy’s email with the correct forms of the words and phrase in the box. 3.Check answers together and give some advice. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Extensive reading Ask students to read the passage quickly to conclude the main idea of the passage. 2.Intensive reading Ask students to read the passage again to answer the questions: Q1:When does Tommy’s new term start? Q2:Whose works does Tommy like best? Q3:What does Tommy think of his Science class? Q4:When does Tommy play football with his friends? Q5:How often does Tommy have a field trip? Step 4 Post⁃reading   Ask students to discuss the questions in D in groups and invite some students to share their ideas.This task will improve students’ critical thinking and autonomous learning ability. Step 3 Practice 1.Let students look at the conversation in A1 and tell students to complete the conversation with the correct prepositions of time. 2.Select some pairs to share the conversation with their correct answers. 3.Let students talk with their partners about their school life,using prepositions of time. Step 4 Presentation   Let students look at the graph first and explain the adverbs of frequency.
