Step 2 Work on A 1.Play a recording on an introduction to Sunshine Middle School.Ask students to listen and tick the places they hear. 2.Check the answers in class. Step 3 Work on B 1.Play the recording and ask students to read along with it. 2.Invite some students to role⁃play the conversation in B.Pay attention to students’ pronunciation and correct them if they make mistakes. 3.Explain the language points in the conversation and prepare some exercises for students to practise. 4.Ask students to work in pairs and make up a conversation by using the conversation in B as a model. 5.Invite some students to show their conversations in class.
