Step 2 Work on A 1.Ask students to read the table in A and then answer the questions. 2.Check the answers with students. Step 3 Work on B 1.Play the recording for the first time.Ask students to listen and help Millie complete her notes in B. 2.Play the recording for the second time.Correct the answers. 3.Invite one student to read the text aloud. Step 4 Work on C 1.Play the recording of the conversation between Daniel and Sandy.Ask students to listen to the conversation and know what the conversation talks about. 2.Explain the language points in the conversation. 3.Ask some students to role⁃play the conversation in pairs. 4.Ask students to work in pairs and discuss their hobbies.Use the conversation in C as a model. 5.Invite some pairs to show their conversations. Step 5 Work on D-D1 1.Ask some students to read the results of Sandy’s questionnaire in D1 and complete it with their own information. 2.Invite some students to share their answers with the classmates. Step 6 Work on D2 1.Play the recording of Sandy’s article about her favourite hobby in D2 and let students repeat it. 2.Read the article sentence by sentence and explain the language points. 3.Invite one student to read the article aloud.
