Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Lead students to review what they learnt last class.
Step 2 Work on Activity 5
1.Ask students to read the sentences from the reading passage and try to summarise the grammar rules.
2.Then ask students to find more sentences with this structure in the reading passage.
3.Lead students to look at the grammar rules on p142 and explain the grammar rules.
Step 3 Work on Activity 6
1.Ask the students to look at the family tree and make sentences using possessive nouns.
2.Check the answers.
Step 4 Work on Activity 7
1.Ask students to look through the passage and complete it using the correct form of the words in brackets.
2.Check the answers.
3.Explain the difficult language points in the passage.
Step 5 Work on Activity 8
1.Have students work in pairs,write down a family moment and share it with their partners.
2.Have students use the thinking map to organise their ideas and give them some example questions.

3.Invite some students to share their family moments.

◇教学反思◇
本节课主要是语法的学习。学生能够掌握名词的所有格的基本用法,但在实际应用中仍有混淆,在名词的所有格的使用上需要更多的练习。学生在小组讨论活动中积极参与,并对家人的重要性也有了更深的理解。
