Step 1 Leading in
1.Give an introduction about a students’ union.
2.Have some students talk about something about a students’ union.
Step 2 Work on Activity 1
1.Ask students to listen to the radio and find out what the biggest problem for new students is.
2.Check the answer.
Step 3 Phonetics in use
1.Explain how to pronounce /ː/、/æ/、/e/ to students.Play related pronunciation videos for students to watch and learn.
2.Have students read related words and correct their pronunciation.
Step 4 Work on Activity 2
1.Have students listen to the radio again and complete the poster.
2.Check the answers.
3.Ask students if they have the same questions and give some advice.
Step 5 Work on Activity 3
1.Have students listen to the conversation and complete the table.
2.Listen again and check the answers.
3.Have students talk about how Wang Peng describes problems.
4.Guide students to describe their problems properly by using the skills in Learning to learn.
Step 6 Work on Activity 4
1.Ask students to work in pairs.One chooses a problem in planning his or her studies and the other gives advice.
2.Invite some students to act out their conversations.
3.Make a summary of the problems and advice and add more useful tips.
◇教学反思◇
本节课是一节听说课。听的部分,大部分学生能听懂大意,但在填写时,会存在一些书写方面的问题,同时还有顾此失彼的情况。今后在课堂上还要加强听力技巧的训练。说的活动中,学生能够提出合理的建议,但需要进一步指导如何更有效地提供帮助和解决方案。
