◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Play a bomb game to review the words and phrases that the students have learned.
Step 2 Work on 2a
1.Lead the students to look at the picture and predict:
(1)Who are they?
(2)What are they doing?
2.Play the recording for the first time.Ask the students to listen only.
3.Play the recording for a second time.Ask the students to listen to the conversation and circle the coloured words they hear.
4.Check the answers.
5.The teacher explains the language points to make the students understand the usage of them.
Step 3 Work on 2b-2c
1.Read the conversation in 2a and answer the questions in 2b.
2.Read again and complete the table with the information about Mr Smith and Peter in 2c.
3.Check the answers.
Step 4 Work on 2d
1.Listen to the conversation again and pay attention to the pronunciation of who’s,I’m,he’s,and it’s.
2.Ask students to practise the conversation in 2a.
3.Ask some pairs to come to the front and then role⁃play the conversation in 2a.
Step 5 Work on Pronunciation 2
1.Play the recording for the first time and ask the students to circle the sentences they hear.
2.Play the recording for a second time.Ask the students to listen and repeat.
Step 6 Work on 2e
1.Ask the students to look through the questions at the box first.Then ask some students to read aloud the questions.
2.Ask the students to complete the table with what they know about these students.
3.Ask the students to work in pairs to ask and answer questions about them.
4.Then invite some students to role⁃play the conversations.
5.Divide the students into pairs and ask them to interview their partners about their personal information using the provided questions.
6.Encourage the students to use the language structures they have learned to ask for specific information.
7.After the interview activity,let some students report their partners’ information to the class.
◇教学反思◇
本课时采用了小组活动的形式,利用多种教学工具开展课堂问答式的口语交际活动和游戏,询问和谈论个人信息。通过互相询问对方的姓名和年龄来让学生更加了解彼此。教学过程中互动环节多,老师要多给予学生帮助以使其对话流畅。
