Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.The teacher introduces himself or herself.
3.Ask the students to introduce themselves.
4.The teacher writes some important words and phrases on the blackboard.
Step 2 Work on 1a
1.Ask the students to tick the expressions they know in 1a.
2.Ask some students to share their answers.
3.Ask the students to make a conversation with their partners using the expressions they know.
4.Invite some pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 3 Work on 1b
1.Ask the students to look at the two pictures and guess the relationship between the speakers.
2.Play the recording for the first time.Ask the students to number the pictures in the order they hear them.
3.Check the answers.
4.Play the recording for a second time and ask the students to listen and repeat.
Step 4 Work on 1c
1.Ask the students to listen to the conversations again and circle the coloured words they hear.
2.Check the answers.
Step 5 Work on 1d
1.Divide the students into several groups.
2.Ask the students to introduce themselves and greet the group members.
3.Invite some groups to act out their conversations.
Step 6 Work on Pronunciation 1
1.Play the recording for the first time.Ask the students to listen and pay attention to the differences in pronunciation between/iː/and/ɪ/,/e/and/æ/.
2.Play the recording for a second time.Ask the students to listen and repeat.
◇教学反思◇
本课时主要学习如何用英语介绍自己和问候他人,设计比较贴近学生的生活。同时,学生了解了中西方的文化差异,学会了礼貌地与人交往。但学生在运用人称代词和be动词时容易出错,后面需要多做练习进行巩固。
