◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the students as usual.
2.Provide each student with a white paper and let them draw the yard they like.
3.Choose two or three to share what are in their yards.Write what they say on the blackboard.
Step 2 Work on 1a
1.Teach the new words in 1a and let the students read them aloud.
2.Ask the students to look at the picture and match the plants and animals with their names.
3.Check the answers with the class.
Step 3 Work on 1b
1.Teach the sentences in 1b.Explain the differences between them.
2.Point at the things in the picture in 1a and ask the students “What’s this/that?” or “What are these/those?” Let the students answer with “It’s...” or “They’re...” patterns.
3.Ask the students to make their own conversations using the words in 1a.
4.Invite some pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 4 Work on 2a-2b
1.Teach the students the numbers in 2a.Ask the students to read them together by following the recording.
2.Play the recording of 2b for the first time and let them finish the task in 2b.Ask a few students to share their answers.
3.Play the recording for a second time and check the answers.
Step 5 Work on 2c
1.Teach the patterns in 2c.Let the students make sentences with the three patterns “What animal...?”“What plants...?”“How many...?”
2.Choose three students to make any one of the sentences and give them praise.
3.Play the recording for the first time and let them finish the task in 2c.Check the answers together.
4.Play the recording for a second time.Let the students read after the recording.
Step 6 Work on 2d
1.Ask the students to work in pairs.Let them talk about the plants and animals in the picture in 1a.Let them fill in the blanks.
2.Ask two pairs to read their conversations out.Give them praise and advice.
◇教学反思◇
本节课让学生学习了更多的动植物。课堂上通过练习,学生能大致描述乡村生活中的事物,并且对乡村生活产生了兴趣。部分学生生活在城市,没有接触过乡村生活,所以在导入过程中需要多用图片和视频激起这部分学生的学习兴趣。
