Step 2 Work on 1a 1.Teach the words in，on，under，and make examples for students with books and desks. 2.Ask the students to describe where the things are in the picture. 3.Ask the students to fill in the blanks and check the answers together. Step 3 Work on 1b 1.Let the students look through the two conversations and read by themselves. 2.Teach the difficult words and sentences in the two conversations.Write them down on the blackboard. 3.Ask the students to read the conversations in pairs. 4.Choose two pairs to read the two conversations.Give them praise and advice. Step 4 Work on 1c 1.Ask the students to read the conversations in 1b together. 2.Ask the students to choose the correct answers in 1c and check the answers together. 3.Let the students read the sentences together.
