Period 3  Grammar Focus

一、教材分析

What: 时态内容主要介绍there be句型及描述位置的方位介词；语篇为介绍英国的一间教室。

Why: 学生需学会正确的使用there be结构的陈述句及一般疑问句，能够用恰当的方位介词介绍自己的学校或教室等场所，并明白中西方教室的差异及学习氛围的不同。

How: 第一部分通过分析总结所给例句，归纳总结there be句型的陈述句，一般疑问句及其回答和常见的方位介词则第二部分通过习题练习让学生关注关注目标结构中的be动词的适当形式，并训练学生通过语境判断主语的单复数的能力；第三部分通过篇章练习描述位置的介词，通过给出的两个选择降低做题难度，同时为中西方文化差异积累素材；最后一部分通过对谈论自己的教室与英国教室的不同，强化巩固本单元核心句型。

二、教学内容

1. 询问方位的问句“Where is...”及其答语。

2. there be结构句式。

3. 描述位置的方位介词。

三、教学目标

1. 掌握以下重点单词及短语：

   bookcase, screen, behind, next to, across from, between and, in front of, teacher’s desk

2. 掌握下列句型：

—Where is/are...？—It is/They are... 

—Is there a/an... in your classroom？—Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.

—Are there any... in your classroom？—Yes, there are./No, there aren’t.

3. 学生能够用正确的语言向他人介绍自己的教室。

【情感、态度与价值观】

通过讨论教室设施增加学生的身份认同感，及对学校的热爱。

四、教学重难点

重点：There be 句型的基本结构和用法，以及位置介词的正确使用。

难点：灵活运用 There be 句型结合位置介词描述空间布局。
