【活动 2】 Roleplay(分角色表演,帮助学生整体理解对话,引导学生学习对话中值得学习的语言现象)
Step 1 将全班分成两队扮演He Wei和Alice两人,集体朗读对话,回答下列问题。
(1)What is not commonly used in China, toilet, restroom or washroom?
(2)Does Alice need to rush?
[答案] (1) Restroom. (2) No, she doesn't.
Step 2 深入理解对话:让学生单独阅读对话并回答下列问题。
(1)Where are He Wei and Alice?
(2)What different parts does Fun Times Park have?
(3)Alice used a word that He Wei didn't fully understand at the beginning. What was the word?
(4)How did Alice help He Wei to understand her?
[答案] (1)They're in Fun Times Park.
(2)Space World, Water world, Animal World...
(3)Restroom.
(4)She used the following two words: washroom and bathroom.

例句
what, which, who, whose, whom等连接代词
这些连接词在宾语从句中作一定的成分,如主语、宾语、定语等。
She will never forget ____________ has helped her.
I wonder ________________ hair is the longest of all the girls.
when (表时间), where (表地点), why (表原因), how (表方式) 等连接副词
这些连接副词在从句中作状语。
He asked me ____________ I could come.
We don't know ____________ he lives.

2.宾语从句的时态
(1)如果主句是一般现在时,宾语从句可根据实际情况使用任何时态。
My mother hopes everything goes well.我妈妈希望一切顺利。
I wonder when he could ride the bike.
我想知道他什么时候能骑自行车。
(2)如果主句是过去时态,宾语从句须使用过去时态的某种形式。
She realized that she had left her homework at home.
她意识到她把作业忘在家里了。
(3)当宾语从句表示的是一个客观真理或者事实时,即使主句是过去时,从句也用一般现在时。
The teacher told his class that the earth goes around the sun.
老师告诉他的学生地球绕着太阳转。
