It is extremely beautiful and you can experience the indigenous Australia there more than anywhere else. The Kimberley region, in particular, is unique and untouched. As a photographer, I love the bright light and amazing colours: red rocks, green plants, blue - green waters and blue skies.
To work full time in travel, you have to love nature. I try to take every opportunity to get outside and admire the natural world. I love to photograph the rising sun, so I force myself into the natural world by waking early each day. I also enjoy photographing animals, such as dolphins and kangaroos.
I hope so. I use my photography to make an impact on people, especially when it comes to environmental issues. Today I’ve been photographing a crocodile swimming close to our boat, the Kimberley Quest, all day. When I post the picture online, I will make a comment about how bad it is to feed wild crocodiles. This crocodile is used to passengers throwing food from boats and now she is becoming familiar with humans. Over time, this could make her a danger to people living in the area. If I can do something to make others aware of the problem, then that’s part of the solution.

You can choose happiness regardless of your circuinstances. You can choose to be happy no matter what challenges life brings you. Let the following simple strategies guide you back to your natural happy state.
Make lemonade when life gives you lemons.
Besides happiness, trouble will also be part of life. It’s how you choose to react to your situations that make the difference. If you look at something hard enough, you’ll see the positive side of it.
Do what you love doing.
Do you have a lifelong dream or desire? If so, start working towards it. Taking baby steps towards a goal will help you feel like you’re accomplishing something. You’ll find drive and determination to reach that goal when it’s something you love doing.
Use one of your talents.
One reason why so many people are unhappy is that they’re not doing what they’re called to do with their God-given talents. Each of us has a purpose in life. You have natural talents to help you achieve your purpose, so use your talents effectively.
Call a friend who you know is positive and cheerful.
Talk about your feelings and listen to their advice. Usually, people allow themselves to go deeper and deeper into self-depression. The truth is that you don’t have to be sad. You can decide to be happy. You just have to make up your mind to do so.
Gratitude is the quickest cure for sadness.
When you focus on what’s wrong with your life, you forget to look at what’s right and good. Take a step back and reflect on your life. Do you have children or family to be thankful for? Yes, they may not be the person we’d like them to be, but imagine life without them. Now, be thankful that you have them in your life.
Let your feelings out on paper.
Often you’ll find that just getting your feelings down on paper will allow you to work through them, helping you feel better about yourself and your beautiful life!

One of the great things about cooking is that it offers a wide range of possibilities. 51. 根据文章第一段“Cooking is not just about making food to satisfy your hunger. 第II卷
第三部分:写作
第一节:阅读表达(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
Fat and shy, Ben Saunders was the last kid in his class who was picked for any sports team. “Football, tennis, basketball anything with a round ball, I was useless,” he says now with a laugh. But back then he was the one who was always made fun of in school PE classes in Devonshire, England.
It was a mountain bike he received for his 15th birthday that changed him. At first he went biking alone in a nearby forest. Then he began to ride the bike along with a runner friend. Gradually, Saunders set his mind on building up his body, increasing his speed and strength (力量). At the age of 18, he won his first long-distance race
The following year he came across John Ridgway. He was hired as an instructor at Ridgway’s School of Adventure (探险) in Scotland, where he learned about Ridgway’s adventures. Greatly interested, Saunders read all he could read about the North Pole explorers and adventures, and then decided this would be his future.
In 2001, after becoming a skillful skier (滑雪者), Saunders started his first long-distance adventure towards the North Pole. It took him a lot of hard work. He experienced low temperatures, ran into a white bear and challenged his spirit and body, pulling his sled (雪撬) up and over rocky ice.
Saunders has since become the youngest person to ski alone to the North Pole, and he’s skied more of the North Pole by himself than any other British man. His old playmates would not believe the change. Next October, Saunders, 27, will head south from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole and back, a 2900-kilometer journey that has never been completed on skis.
56.What made Ben Saunders change when he was fifteen? (no more than 10 words)
57.When did Ben Saunders get first place in a long-distance race for the first time? (no more than 5 words)
58.What does the underlined part in Paragraph mean? (no more than 10 words)
59.What’s Paragraph 4 mainly about? (no more than 10 words)
60.What do you think of Ben Saunders? Please explain. (no more than 25 words)
56.A mountain bike he received changed him. 57.At the age of 18. 58.He decided to devote himself to polar exploration. 59.Saunders’ adventure to the North Pole. 60.Determined and resilient; he transformed himself from an underdog to a record-setting adventurer.
由文章第二段中“It was a mountain bike he received for his 15th birthday that changed him. (一辆他15岁生日时收到的山地自行车改变了他。)”可知,当他15岁时,一辆山地自行车使他发生了变化。故答案为:A mountain bike he received changed him.
由文章第二段最后一句“At the age of 18, he won his first long-distance race (长跑比赛). (18岁时,他赢得了他的第一场长跑比赛。)”可知,Ben Saunders在18岁时第一次在长跑比赛中获得第一名。故答案为:At the age of 18.
由文章第三段中“Greatly interested, Saunders read all he could read about the North Pole explorers and adventures, and then decided this would be his future. (对北极探险家和冒险活动非常感兴趣,Saunders读了他能读到的所有关于北极探险家和冒险活动的书籍,然后决定这将是他的未来。)”可知,Saunders对北极探险家和冒险活动产生了浓厚的兴趣,决定这将成为他未来的职业或方向。因此,划线部分的意思是“他决定投身于北极探险事业”。故答案为:He decided to devote himself to polar exploration.
由文章第四段“In 2001, after becoming a skillful skier (滑雪者), Saunders started his first long-distance adventure towards the North Pole. It took him a lot of hard work. He experienced low temperatures, ran into a white bear and challenged his spirit and body, pulling his sled (雪撬) up and over rocky ice. (2001年,在成为一名熟练的滑雪者后,桑德斯开始了他第一次向北极的长途冒险。这让他付出了很多努力。他经历了低温,遇到了一头白熊,挑战了自己的精神和身体,拉着雪橇在多岩石的冰面上滑行。)”可知,第四段主要讲述了Saunders在2001年开始了他的第一次前往北极的长途探险之旅,并描述了他在这个过程中所经历的艰难困苦。因此,该段主要讲述了Saunders的北极探险之旅。故答案为:Saunders’ adventure to the North Pole.
根据文章中第一段“Fat and shy, Ben Saunders was the last kid in his class who was picked for any sports team. “Football, tennis, basketball anything with a round ball, I was useless,” he says now with a laugh. But back then he was the one who was always made fun of in school PE classes in Devonshire, England. (Ben Saunders又胖又害羞,是班里最后一个入选运动队的孩子。“足球、网球、篮球,只要是圆球,我都没用,”他现在笑着说。但那时候,他在英国德文郡的学校体育课上总是被取笑。)”和第二段中“At the age of 18, he won his first long-distance race (长跑比赛). (18岁时,他第一次赢得了长跑比赛。)”第四段“In 2001, after becoming a skillful skier, Saunders started his first long-distance adventure towards the North Pole. It took him a lot of hard work. He experienced low temperatures, ran into a white bear and challenged his spirit and body, pulling his sled up and over rocky ice. (2001年,在成为一名熟练的滑雪者后,桑德斯开始了他第一次向北极的长途冒险。这让他付出了很多努力。他经历了低温,遇到了一头白熊,挑战了自己的精神和身体,拉着雪橇在多岩石的冰面上滑行。)”第五段中“Saunders has since become the youngest person to ski alone to the North Pole, and he’s skied more of the North Pole by himself than any other British man. (自此,桑德斯成为了独自滑雪到达北极的最年轻的人,而且他独自在北极滑雪的次数比其他任何英国人都多。)”可知,他坚定而坚韧,他从一个失败者变成了一个创纪录的冒险家。故答案为:Determined and resilient; he transformed himself from an underdog to a record-setting adventurer.
