一、表语从句的构成及引导词

注意事项
1. that 的不可省略性:表语从句中 that 虽无实义,但通常不可省略(如错误:The truth is he lied. 正确:The truth is that he lied.)。
2. if 的禁用:表语从句中表 “是否” 只能用 whether,不可用 if(如错误:The doubt is if he will come. 正确:The doubt is whether he will come.)。
3. 语序规则:表语从句需用陈述语序,不可用疑问语序(如错误:The problem is how can we solve it. 正确:The problem is how we can solve it.)。
二、表语从句中的虚拟语气
用法介绍
表语从句中的虚拟语气主要用于表达建议、命令、愿望等主观意图,常见于 “主语为表示建议、要求、命令的名词(如 advice, suggestion, order)” 的结构中,从句谓语用 “(should+) 动词原形”(should 可省略)。

注意事项
1. 主语的限定性:虚拟语气仅适用于主语为 “advice, suggestion, order, desire, demand” 等表主观意图的名词,普通名词后的表语从句不用虚拟语气(如错误:His plan is that we should go. 正确:His plan is that we will go. 此处 plan 不表强制建议,用陈述语气)。
2. should 的可省略性:从句中 should 可省略,但动词需用原形(如 “The suggestion is that he (should) try again.” 可简写为 “The suggestion is that he try again.”)。
3. 被动语态的形式:若表语从句为被动意义,需用 “(should+) be + 过去分词”(如 “The rule is that the windows (should) be cleaned daily.”)。
