Step 2 Listening Practice: Planning a Clean - Up Day (10 minutes)
2a & 2b Activities (10 minutes)
2a Task: Play the 2a audio. Students listen and check (✔) the things the students are going to do to tell people about the City Park Clean - Up Day. The correct pictures to check are a, b, d, e.
2b Task: Play the audio again. Students fill in the blanks:

2c Task: Students make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b. Model with a student:
A: We need to come up with a plan for the City Park Clean - Up Day.
B: Let's put up some signs first.
A: Good idea. And we could also hand out notices after school.
Walk around to assist with conversation making, focusing on vocabulary and sentence pattern use.
2d Activity (5 minutes)
Students role - play the conversation between Helen and Tom. Encourage them to use proper intonation and expression.
