21-23. ACB 24-27. CBAB 28-31. BCAB 32. DACD
1 “Preheat the oven to 375°F.”,步骤2提到“Heat half a tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.”,即预热烤箱后,下一步是加热橄榄油。
4 “Place the pan in the preheated oven, and roast for 10 to 12 minutes, until the eggs have completely set in the center.”,即放入烤箱烤10-12分钟后,鸡蛋中心完全凝固,此时才算全熟。
5 “Decorate it with some fresh basil.”,即使用新鲜罗勒装饰。
24. C 根据第一段最后一句“But that changed once I stepped onto the badminton court.”
25. B 根据第三段“Events like the meet-and-greet... helped me bridge understanding between children with autism, their families, and our welcoming police officers.”
27. B 根据最后一段提到“every action has helped create a welcoming space...
28. B 根据文中“Wang showed students how movement occurs in a zero-gravity environment through a series of physics experiments”可知,王亚平是在零重力(失重)环境中做实验。
30. A 根据“Barbara Morgan, a female US astronaut who participated in a space teaching program in 2007”可知,Barbara Morgan是美国女航天员。
33. A 根据上下文,“Drawing on the knowledge gained from the creation of Robonaut 2” 意为“利用从Robonaut 2的研发中获得的知识”。“Drawing on”在此处表示“利用、借鉴”,与A项“Making use of”意思一致。
36-40. EBFAD
41-45. DAABC 46-50. ACBCD 51-55. ABDBC
42. A 根据后文“as a national marketing director for a company”(作为公司的全国营销总监)是职业身份。
“specific”(特定的)与后文“Go where he could find people”(去能找到人的地方)形成对比,说明他不局限于固定地点,49. C 根据后文提到“the 1,300 people he’d talked to”(他交谈过的1300人),说明他去的地方是人们可能愿意“交谈”的地方。

Dear Jasper,
I hope this email finds you well. I’m thrilled to share with you the details of our school’s recent mobile phone photography contest.
The contest, drawing enthusiastic participation from students across all grades, was a tremendous success. Each entry was a unique masterpiece, capturing various aspects of our vibrant campus life, from breathtaking sunsets over the playground to lively scenes of student interactions. Through this activity, I not only improved the photography skills but also discovered the beauty hidden in our everyday surroundings. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to bond with fellow photographers and appreciate the artistic potential of our mobile phones.
I’d love to hear your feedback or if you have any similar experiences to share!

At that moment, a wave of regret washed over Sarah. She cupped Emily’s face, wiping her tears with her thumb. “I was wrong—so wrong. Your mom needs you, and I should’ve been here, not yelling. Let’s go make sure she’s okay.” At Emily’s home, Sarah helped prepare a simple meal, chatting with the mom about her favorite garden flowers to distract her pain. As Emily’s mom dozed off, Emily whispered, “Thank you… for not giving up on me.” Sarah hugged her, realizing lateness was trivial—what mattered was standing by someone in need.
From that day on, Sarah changed. She started a “check-in jar” for their friendship: every time one felt overwhelmed, they’d drop a note, no questions asked. Plans became flexible—movies rescheduled, dinners moved—but their bond grew tighter. When Emily’s mom recovered, she joked, “Sarah’s the daughter I never had—she taught us both how to listen first.” For Sarah, empathy wasn’t a choice anymore; it was the rhythm of friendship, beating louder than anger ever could.
范文二
At that moment, a wave of regret washed over Sarah. She breathed deep, steadying her voice: “I’m sorry—for not seeing how hard this is. Let’s fix this.” They raced to the pharmacy, Sarah footing the bill when Emily’s money fell short. On the walk back, Emily confessed, “I was scared to tell you… I thought you’d get tired of my mess.” Sarah stopped, serious: “Your struggles don’t drive me away—they make me want to stay.” At home, they sat with Emily’s mom, Sarah sharing silly school stories to make her laugh, the tension of the day dissolving.
From that day on, Sarah changed. She created a “support schedule”—Mondays for grocery runs, Wednesdays for homework help, Fridays for family dinners. When Emily started to slip back into guilt over past lateness, Sarah shook her head: “That’s old news—we’re writing a new story, remember?” Their friendship became a safe harbor, proof that empathy isn’t just feeling sorry—it’s showing up, week after week, until “I’m here” becomes the loudest promise two friends can share.

Three years ago, I volunteered for a program called SunnyBlue, which works with people with autism (自闭症). When I signed up to help with this program, my mind viewed it as some kind of “easy” way to get community service hours. I saw myself as not much more than an extra set of hands. But that changed once I stepped onto the badminton court.
On both sides of the net, I got to know the participants individually. I learned to love their personalities and the excitement they brought with each swing of the racket. One of these moments was enabling a player with autism to become a real part of the group. I watched the group grow in confidence, their smile getting wider with every rally At that moment, I realized my position wasn’t just about helping everything go smoothly; I was part of providing a safe place for them to express themselves and to encourage confidence in who they were.
After that, I continued as an active SunnyBlue member, always focused on serving individuals with autism. Events like the meet-and-greet held with our local police helped me bridge understanding between children with autism, their families, and our welcoming police officers. This meeting opened doors for a greater understanding of neuro disorder and built a newfound sense of care within our city. Today, my team and I have grown the organization into a total of 15 volunteers who work hard to improve the lives of individuals with autism and increase awareness about the disorder in our community.
Through my journey at SunnyBlue, I have learned that the difference we make may be small, but it grows even more with every single person we reach and every connection we go out of our way to make. Be it through coaching or organizing events, I feel proud knowing that every action has helped create a welcoming space where community members with autism can live well!
24. What happened when the author was on the badminton court?
A. He discovered the hidden talents of all the players.
B. He played badminton excitedly and professionally.
C. He realized the true value of his role in the program.
D. He managed to cure a player’s autism through sports.
25. Why was the event “meet-and-greet” held?
A. To raise money for the SunnyBlue program.
B. To deepen understanding among different groups.
C. To build connections between police and volunteers.
D. To introduce new members of the SunnyBlue program.
26. What kind of person is the author?
A. Caring and responsible. B. Curious and determined.
C. Humorous and energetic. D. Respectful and independent.
27. What does the author think of his experience at SunnyBlue?
A. Interesting. B. Rewarding. C. Demanding. D. Embarrassing.

Wang Yaping, one of the three crew members in the Shenzhou-X class spacecraft, delivered the lecture through a 40-minute live video broadcast, nine days after the successful spacecraft launch.
Assisted by the other two astronauts Nie Haisheng and Zhang Xiaoguang, Wang showed students how movement occurs in a zero-gravity environment through a series of physics experiments to help students understand basic physics concepts.
Observers say the creative lecture is not only good for science and patriotic education of the younger generation but also shows national confidence in China’s maturing space technologies.
Via the video feed system, the three astronauts interacted with some 300 curious students in Beijing on Thursday after the lecture, who raised questions about their daily life in the space module.
“I’m extremely excited to see the magical effects of the experiments. I feel like I’m close to space while watching the live broadcast, ” a primary school student in Beijing told the Global Times after the lecture.
The lecture became one of the most popular topics on Weibo Thursday, with some Web users saying this visually impressive method of education has made them interested in space science.
The lecture also drew international attention. NASA’s first humanoid robot, Valkyrie is going through a few of its final testing stages at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston,Texas. The humanoid robot, much like Iron Man but constructed from metal and electronics, copies human walking and appearance. NASA is exploring if such machines can further space exploration, starting with the Artemis mission, according to Reuters.
Standing at 6 feet 2 inches (188 centimeters) and weighing 300 pounds (136 kilograms), Valkyrie is an electric humanoid robot able to operate in degraded or damaged human-engineered environments, like areas hit by natural disasters.
JSC designed and constructed NASA’s Valkyrie specifically for participation in the 2023 DARPA Robotics Challenge Trials. Drawing on the knowledge gained from the creation of Robonaut 2, the Valkyrie team at JSC created this robot in fifteen months. They integrated (整合) improved electronics, actuators and sensing abilities based on the advancements made in earlier generations of humanoid robots at JSC.
In July, the humanoid robot went through testing in Australia to rate its software, generating valuable data and feedback (反馈) for NASA. These tests aimed to advance remote mobile dexterous manipulation (灵活操控) abilities.
NASA has cooperated with robotics firms, including Apptronik based in Austin, Texas, to explore the insights gained from humanoid robots designed for Earthly applications. This cooperation aims to learn how humanoid robots developed for purposes on Earth could help the development of future humanoid robots meant for space.
Humanoid robots to be arranged in space hold the possibility to perform dangerous tasks such as cleaning solar panels or examining equipment that is out of order outside spacecraft. This ability allows astronauts to focus on exploration and discovery without putting their safety at risk. “We’re not trying to replace human workers; we’re just trying to take the dull, dirty and dangerous work off their plates to allow them to focus on those higher-level activities,” told Shaun Azimi, NASA Dexterous Robotics Team Leader, to Reuters.
32. What is mainly presented about Valkyrie in paragraph 2?
A. Its testing results. B. Its creation process.
C. Its wide applications. D. Its appearance and functions.
33. What does the underlined phrase “Drawing on” in paragraph 3 probably mean?
A. Making use of. B. Taking care of.
C. Losing sight of. D. Keeping track of.
34. What can be inferred about humanoid robots to be used in space?
A. They will replace astronauts soon.
B. They are too expensive to be widely used.
C. They can help astronauts avoid risky work.
D. They have already solved all space problems.
35. What is the text mainly about?
A. The future development of space exploration.
B. The comparison of different humanoid robots.
C. The partnership between NASA and robotics firms.
D. The introduction of a NASA-based humanoid robot.

"Can't you ever be on time? We're going to miss the movie!" Sarah shouted at her best friend, Emily, who was still looking for her wallet. The two had planned to see a movie together, but Emily's frequent lateness was driving Sarah crazy. “I'm sorry, I just can't find it," Emily replied, her voice shaking.
As they finally rushed out of the house, Sarah continued to complain. “This always happens. I'm tired of waiting for you. I plan everything, and you ruin it!" Emily remained silent, her eyes fixed on the ground.
When they arrived at the cinema, it was already ten minutes after the movie had started. "See? We missed the beginning because of you," Sarah said angrily. Emily bought the tickets without a word.
During the movie, Sarah couldn't focus. She noticed Emily was sitting quietly, looking down. Sarah's anger began to fade, and she started to feel a bit guilty. After the movie ended, they walked out of the cinema. Sarah realized Emily was acting strange. Usually, she would be chatting non-stop, but now she seemed lost in thought.
"Hey, are you okay?" Sarah asked, a little worried. Emily looked up, her eyes red. "I'm really sorry about today. It's just that ... my mom's been sick, and I've been under so much stress. I was looking for the money she gave me to buy some medicine."
Sarah was shocked. She had been so busy being angry about being late that she hadn't even noticed something was wrong with Emily.
