C People who have trouble walking or moving around often have a hard time enjoying the beach. But hundreds of beaches in Greece(希腊)now offer a new way to help people in wheelchairs(轮椅)to get into the water on their own. It's Seatrac.
Seatrac is a chair on a moving walkway that can smoothly carry a disabled person into the sea. Once in the sea,the person can either stay in the chair, enjoying the water, or go for a swim.Thechair can be controlled from far away. When the person is ready to get out of the water, the Seatrac system(系统)brings the chair back to thetop of the walkway.
The idea for Seatrac came from a Greek inventor(发明者),Fotiou. One day,he was talking with a friend in a wheelchair. The friend said he loved the sea but hated being carried in like a heavy bag. Fotiou realized there must be a way to make it easier for wheelchair users to get into the water. He talked to more disabled people and heard their beach troubles. An old man's words about missing rushing to the waves(海浪)touched him. Those honest conversations led to the birth of Seatrac. So you see small talks can start big changes and great ideas often start from caring about small things. Don't just feel sorry for the disabled. Instead, help them achieve the dream.
