By the end of this period, the students will have been able to:
1) Complete the vocabulary exercise in the textbook and workbook;
2) Practise making word pairs, using given vocabulary;
3) Practise using the words and expressions learned in the previous period in contexts and consolidate their usage;
4) Learn to paraphrase sentences using given words and use a mind map to build up your vocabulary.

1. Review some of the language items learned in the previous period briefly.
2. Introduce the learning objectives of this period.

1. Go through the verbs and nouns, work in pairs or groups to write as many correct pairs of “verb + noun” phrases as possible and then check the answers and get to know the meanings of the language chunks.
