Daily Dialogue
Invite two students to perform a dialogue using Grammar Focus structures:
A: Have you read Little Women yet?

Praise and highlight the present perfect structure: “have/has + past participle”.
Grammar Reminder
Write on the board:
Present Perfect: Used for recent experiences, actions with connection to now.

II. 4a Activity – Conversation Completion (12 mins)
Instruction
Present 4a conversations and tell students: “Use the words in brackets to complete them with the present perfect tense.”

Instruction
Explain 4b: “Fill in blanks with correct present perfect or simple present forms. Notice the time words (already, every time).”

Students write 4b sentences:

will be; finished; wrote; hasn’t read
Check answers as a class. Highlight:
“has read” (present perfect for experience) vs. “loves” (simple present for habit).
