In today’s digital world (数码世界),people want answers fast. To help, big tech companies are creating chatbots using AI. Chatbots are smart programs that can talk to us on phones, messaging apps and websites and give quick replies to our questions.
Chatbots have changed how we get information and shop online. They can do many things, like learning new knowledge, giving helpful suggestions and solving technical problems. This makes them very useful in our busy digital lives. There are two types of chatbots: open and closed. Closed chatbots use pre-written answers for common questions. Open chatbots, however, use advanced AI to understand what we want and give the right replies. They also learn from each conversation, becoming better at answering different kinds of questions over time.
The great thing about chatbots is that they’re used any time, even at night. And they can help many people at once, so we don’t have to wait long for answers. But chatbots aren’t perfect. Some questions are too difficult for chatbots to answer, that’s why they need humans to train them. Besides, they can’t understand human feelings well. Many people still prefer talking to real persons because of the warmth they provide.
Chatbots have made online services faster and more convenient. But they can’t work best without working together with humans. By combining AI-powered chatbots and human skills, we get a better customer service experience that’s both quick and understanding. As we move forward in this digital age, using chatbots and human intelligence together will shape how we interact (互动) with technology in the future.

What makes a group smart and able to solve problems successfully and make good solutions? Oh, we may ask: what makes a group intelligent? A group’s IQ (智商), we might think, would be simply the average intelligence of the group members, or perhaps the intelligence of the smartest group member. But some scientists have found that this isn’t so.
A group’s intelligence comes out from communications(交流) within the group. A group’s intelligence can be calculated, and like the IQ grades of a single person, and it can predict the group’s performance on lots of kinds of tasks perfectly. A single person’s intelligence can be trained to develop, so can a group’s intelligence. Here are some suggestions on how to guide the development of smart groups:
Personally, you can choose group members carefully. The smartest groups are made of people who are good at reading each other’s social signs. And then it’s better for you to talk about the “how”. Groups who take the time to discuss how they will work together are more well-organized and successful.
As a group member, it is also very important for you to share the information in the formal meetings. The members who just control the discussion or who stay away and don’t say much make the intelligence of the group lower. But in the smart group, members connect directly with each other, not just with group leader. They always take an active part in every small conversation that could be added to main discussion. Outside of formal meetings, the smartest groups spend a lot of time communicating, too. All members can have a coffee break at the same time, leading them to do their work more professionally and feel more pleased with their jobs.
The main idea of the passage
A group’s 66 is from communications among the group members.

Many people like eating out now because they are busy and they don’t have enough time to cook at home. They usually go to the clean, bright and comfortable restaurants.
There is a new place to eat in Paris, and it’s full every night. The chairs are small and the tablecloths aren’t very clean, but many people in Paris have to wait for a long time to eat there because they think eating there is a different experience.
The restaurant is in total darkness. There’s no light in the restaurant and the dinner is served by blind waiters. The customers can’t see what their food look like. They have to feel for their knives, forks and glasses on the table. The earlier idea was to help people understand what it’s like to be blind. It’s also shown that strangers become more open with each other when they get together in the dark. “The customers who arrived on this Friday night, for example, looked shy and nervous at first, but by the time they left 90 minutes later, many were more open with each other and become good friends,” said the owner. “Where’s the wine?” asked someone. “Oh, no, I’ve knocked it over!” came the reply. “Oh, no, I’ve dropped my fork!” said another. The sound of laughing filled the restaurant.
4 each dinner begins, the owner explains the rules. “Please don’t light a match or use your cigarette lighters. If you have any problem with the darkness, ask one of the waiters for help.” Then the blind waiters show the customers the way to their tables. They play the roles in looking after the customers after each dinner begins.

As the saying goes, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” It’s just the key to being a polite guest abroad.
Whenever you are invited to a western family for dinner, to know some knowledge of western manners is very important. Here are five useful tips for you.
First, be on time. To be a polite guest, be sure to get there on time. Being late as well as being too early is impolite. If you can’t get there on time, make a call as early as possible.
Second, choose proper greeting manners. People in different countries have different ways of greeting each other. In Britain and the United States, people are supposed to shake hands when they meet for the first time. For friends, they may choose a hug. In France, greeting with a kiss is very common.
Third, mind table manners. When having dinner, you should behave properly. For example, putting your spoon in the soup bowl is considered impolite, and don’t try to talk with your mouth full. Be careful not to make much noise when cutting things with your knife.
Fourth, keep a proper talking distance. Generally, one meter between each other is perfect in Britain. However, half a meter is OK in the United States. People will feel uncomfortable when they are too close to each other or too far from each other.
Last, prepare a small gift. Some flowers or a bottle of wine is enough. If there are children, some chocolate will be nice.
