字母组合oo的发音规律总结:
k, d 之前读短 /ʊ/;
t, n, th, l 后长 /uː/;
开音节中多念长;
复合词中看重读;
foot, woman 是特例;
blood, flood 要单独记。
Listen and repeat. Notice the sense groups and pauses.
意群:就是一个句子中表达某一个相关含义的前后相连的一个词(组)、一个短语、一个分句、一个主句或一个从句。
Peter: Mum, can I invite my friends to our new house?

停顿:
意群停顿:按语义分组停顿,不破坏句子完整性;
语法停顿:根据标点符号(逗号、句号等)停顿;
逻辑停顿:为强调重点或情感表达的停顿。
意群 和停顿
意群是句子内部意义相对完整的一组词。意群的界限是相对的。一个句子可以是一个大意群,也可以分为若干小意群,句子内的意群之间停顿时间较短,用一根竖直线( |)标出。句子和句子之间的停顿时间较长,用两根竖直线(‖)标出。
意群
Home is a place of love. ‖ It always welcomes me│with open arms│—and perhaps│a plate of freshly-made biscuits.
每个意群要一口气说完。在读每个意群时,要注意词与词之间的连读、不完全爆破和词的弱读等现象。
