Avoid thinking too much
Overthinking is natural but can cause problems 告别精神内耗,勇敢向前一步
Imagine you are going to give a speech (演讲) the next day. The night before, you spend a lot of time thinking about the possible mistakes you might make and whether you’re prepared enough. Well, you might be overthinking. Overthinking means going over the same thought again and again, analyzing (分析) the simplest situations or events too much.
Overthinking comes from one of our primitive instincts (原始本能). The primitive mind will always see things in the worst possible light. Our brains are always looking for threats (威胁), to make a plan to deal with those threats and keep us safe.
Some people believe that overthinking may be helpful because it helps us look at a problem from every possible angle (角度) and get ready for what might happen. However, research suggests that overthinking can make us stressed, anxious (焦虑的) and depressed(忧郁的).
What’s more overthinking might create problems with how you get along with others. As you think the worst, make incorrect guesses, or worry about every little thing others do and say, you might misunderstand their intentions (意图).
So, instead of sitting and thinking about a problem again and again, you can distract (转移注意力) yourself for a bit. Your brain might find better ways to solve the problem while you’re doing something fun, like gardening (园艺), or even while you’re sleeping.
Also, when you find yourself overthinking, challenge these thoughts. Ask yourself if they make sense and think about other possibilities. It can be hard at first, but recognizing that you are overthinking can help you make a change.

Starting at Suizhou South Station, the road goes through many small towns. It connects several big roads to make a 156 km circle. From the sky, it looks like a heart, so people call it the “Heart-Shaped Route”. From above the sky, the road curves through green hills like a black ribbon (丝带). At sunrise, it looks magical in the golden light. You’ll see mountains, trees, flowers, windmills, farms, and villages from your car window. The changing views are like a beautiful movie.

The road mixes nature, culture, and fun. It helps the area grow by showing its special things. Local farmers sell fresh fruits and vegetables at roadside stands. Visitors can pick seasonal fruits like peaches and strawberries in summer. There are great photo spots and farm activities. Children can feed goats and collect eggs at petting zoos. Visitors can try farming and learn about old ways. These fun experiences help people understand country life better.
Travel No.1 Route connects Suizhou’s cultural places with farms and tourist spots. This makes them work well together. Many people love driving here because it’s both beautiful and exciting. It helps Suizhou’s tourism grow in a good way.

Bajiaolou Middle School Carries Forward Lei Feng’s Spirit
On a warm spring day, students from Bajiaolou Middle School in Zengdu District put on their neat school uniforms. With great respect for Lei Feng’s spirit, they visited a local nursing home called “One Family.” Their goal was to clean the place and make it more comfortable for the elderly, showing the true meaning of “Passing on Lei Feng’s Spirit, Warming Hearts at the Nursing Home.”
When they arrived, the students quickly split into groups and started cleaning. Some swept the yard carefully with brooms, picking up every leaf and piece of paper. Others mopped the floors until they were spotless. A few students wiped windows, tables, and chairs, removing dust and making everything shine.
Besides cleaning, the students also spent time talking with the elderly. They chatted warmly, asking about their health and daily lives. The elderly were deeply touched by the students’ kindness and care.
After the activity, the students promised to keep Lei Feng’s spirit alive in their daily lives by helping others and serving society. This meaningful day at the nursing home would stay in their hearts forever, encouraging them to keep moving forward.

What’s more, overthinking might create problems with how you get along with others.

I think students should help parents do some housework
Firstly, after a whole day’s work, our parents must be very tired. If we help them with the housework, they’ll feel quite happy and pleased. It can help us understand each other better. And we can also learn a lot from (doing) housework, too.
On the other hand, doing housework not only trains our abilities, but also helps us make a sense of responsibility. Only through housework can we realize we’re members of our families, then to realize we’re parts of our society. We can devote ourselves to the world.
