定义:表示过去某个时间发生且已经结束的动作、状态或习惯。

基本句型有2种:实义动词句型和be动词句型
1. 实义动词句型
· 陈述句: 主语 +过去式+其他
· 否定句:主语 + did not (didn't) + 动词原形 + 其他
· 一般疑问句: Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
· 肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + did.
· 否定回答:No, 主语 + didn’t.
· 特殊疑问: 疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
2. be动词句型 (was用于单数,were用于复数)
· 陈述句: 主语 + was/were + 其他
· 否定句:主语 + wasn't/weren't + 其他
· 一般疑问句:Was/Were + 主语 + 其他?
· 肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + was/were.
· 否定回答:No, 主语 + was/were.

误:一般过去时描述“过去的事,可能延续到现在”
正:延续性动作需用现在完成时(have/has done)
对比:

I have lived in Beijing for 5 years. (仍居住) → 现在完成时
对比法:
一般过去时:过去动作,现已结束(时间点明确)
现在完成时:过去开始,持续至今(时间段延续)
· 易错点5:上下文时态不一致
在一篇文章或一段对话中,要保持时态的一致性。如果前文用了一般过去时描述过去发生的事情,后文也应该继续使用一般过去时,除非有明确的时间变化提示。
例如,❌ I went to the park yesterday. I see many beautiful flowers there.
→ ✅ I went to the park yesterday. I saw many beautiful flowers there. ”。
