S2:... 3.Show these learning styles on the board and ask the students to choose which are good:paying too much attention to the knowledge of grammar,connecting something new with knowledge and experience you already have,reviewing well what you have learned,feeling nervous about making mistakes... Step 2 Work on 2a-2b 1.Ask the students to work in groups and think of the question in 2a:What good learning habits can you think of? 2.Ask the students to write down the learning habits they can think of. 3.Let the students read the passage quickly and check if there are any of the habits they listed. 4.Let the students copy the habits appearing in the passage and answer what the four habits of successful learners are. 5.Let the students read the passage again aloud.Ask the students to learn the new words and expressions and show how to use them. 6.Let the students discuss these habits.Get the class to use proper reading strategy—rapid reading. 7.Ask the students to listen to the tape and follow.Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.
