In our school, we have some important rules to follow.1._
It is a place for reading and studying,so we should not talk loudly.
Second, we cannot use mobile phones in class. This helps us pay attention
to our teachers and lessons
Another rule is to keep our school clean.2._______If we see any
litter,we should pick it up and put it in the bin. This makes our school a
nice place to learn.
3.______This means being polite and listening when others are
speaking. Following these rules helps everyone feel safe and happy at
school. When we all follow the rules,4.
A.We also need to respect our teachers and classmates.
B.we can enjoy our time and learn better together.
C. First, we must be quiet in the library.
D.We should not throw litter on the ground.
E.We can eat lunch in the classroom.

Robots have increasingly become a part of our lives. They can perform
various tasks, from simple household chores to complex industrial operations.
1._____At the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, a remarkable scene
caught the attention of millions.
2._ _______Directed by Zhang Yimou, this performance blended
traditional Chinese yangko dance with modern robot technology. Humanoid
robots, dressed in vivid costumes, danced the yangko rhythmically. They
spun colourful handkerchiefs and coordinated their movements to form eye-
catching patterns.
These robots were the masterpieces of Unitree,a leading Chinese
robotics company. 3.______In fact, back in 2021, their robot cows
had already shown off their dancing skills as backup dancers for a famous
singer. This time, they took the innovation to a new level.
The robots didn't just dance randomly.4._______Their advanced
laser navigation(激光导航)systems enabled them to move precisely on
the stage, even with its uneven surface. Strong joints(关节), similar to
human knees with remarkable power, ensured their stability during rapid
spins and jumps. It was a perfect combination of technology and art,
impressing audiences both young and old.
A.Their development has brought great convenience to us.
B.It was a group of robots dancing yangko.
C. They learned the dance steps through artificial intelligence.
D.People were amazed by the beauty of traditional Chinese dance.
E.Unitree has been committed to robotics research for years.

(临沂期末)Do you know which social app Chinese young people use
a lot now?1._________Some users use TikTok and Kuaishou. They think
it is fun to share short videos about their lives, while others have other
purposes as well.
A12-year-old user named Elsa has about 2.7 million fans on TikTok.
The girl has shared videos about her dance workouts since last July.
2._____"I feel really glad to share happiness with people by short
videos," said Elsa.
As some videos are about the latest news,a group of users depend on
them to get information. 3.___"Because I can’t spend many hours
watching a whole video and I'′m not a very patient person. I don't like waiting
for a program to end. I prefer to watch short videos of wonderful parts in
programs, and then I can get some information quickly,” said Wang Zhihao.
4._______“Killing time is the main reason for me to watch the
short videos, but many are almost the same,so I think it is a waste of
time. What's more, I really don't like the videos which show strange even
dangerous things,"said Wen Nan,another college student.
Recently, something else has happened. Some videos are telling
people what products are worth buying. But after they buy the products,
they may regret soon. So they should think twice. Some short videos even
sell bad products, but these sellers won't let you get your money back.
A.To some other users, they have a different purpose.
B.“Short videos”are certainly the most popular.
C. However, some young Chinese feel bored with some short videos.

What will happen to the family life without the Internet for a month?
A month ago, one American family decided to find it out. They sent an
invitation to a leading US television station, expecting that it would send a
film group to record their daily life without the nternet for a month.
When the film group met the Smiths, they found that Mr Smith, Mrs
Smith and their two kids were so crazy about the Internet that they hardly
did things together. At mealtimes,no one sat at the dining table for their
food.“Everyone just runs into the kitchen, takes their food and then goes
back to their screen.”Mrs Smith explained, “If we don't make a change,
our family will become strangers to each other!"
Getting back to normal life without the Internet is not easy, especially
when the Smiths lose themselves in it. They have to make many changes.
For example, two kids have to go to the school library to borrow books for
their scientific projects, and Mr and Mrs Smith need to go out shopping
because they cannot buy things online. As the family have picked up the
new lifestyle, they find that they can spend more time talking over meals,
playing sports and doing all kinds of activities together.
1.How many people are there in the Smith family?
2.Why did the family ask a leading US television station to record their
daily life?
3. Why did nobody in the Smith family sit at the dining table at mealtimes?
4.The Intermet has both advantages and disadvantages. Do you agree?
Why or why not?Write 30 words or more.

Reshi completed a 12-page children's book,Alice and Sparkle,with
the help of a chatbot called ChatGPT. A chatbot is a computer program
that uses artificial intelligence(AI)to imitate human thinking and writing.
The book’s text was produced using it,and Reshi created illustrations(插
图)using another AI program, Midjourney, which uses special computational
rules to translate words into images.
When Reshi posted the book online,it became very popular with
children. Some people praised Reshi for being clever. However, not
everyone was happy. Some artists criticized the book. They said the
pictures were of poor quality.
Midjourney works by searching through millions of images on the
Internet. It uses algorithms(算法)to find patterns in these images and
make new ones. The problem is that Midjourney takes images from artists'
works without asking for permission.
Some companies have already started using A instead of human
workers. For example,an AI robot told jokes at a comedy club instead of
a person. The San Francisco Ballet also used AI-created images forr
advertising a ballet show called The Nutcracker.
Many artists and writers are worried about their jobs. They fear that if
AI can create art and writing for less money, people may not pay them for
their work.
Josephine, a journalist who makes money from writing, says,"I love
writing, but it's troubling to see people looking for cheaper choices instead
of supporting real human writers."
There is a real concern about protecting the work of artists and writers
who could have their creations used by AI programs. The technology
industry that develops these tools should include artists in the process of
making them.
1. What's a chatbot?
2.Why did some artists criticize the book?
3. What can you learn from paragraph 4?
4. What's your opinion about using AI to create works?Write 30 words or
more.

Brett Easter comes from America. He is a young pilot. For him,11
November is a day he will never forget. On that day three years ago, Brett
was flying high above Washington when he found something was wrong
with his plane, but nobody could help him. Brett knew he wouldn't make
it back to the airport, so he found a lake to land his plane. He
successfully landed in the lake, but he wasn't out of danger yet!
After Brett opened the door of the plane, he fell into the cold water.
He couldn't swim because he wore a heavy jacket. He struggled for about
ten minutes to keep his head out of the water. When he was about to give
up,some people nearby came to him. They saw the poor man. The brave
men jumped into a boat and paddled(用桨划)it to Brett as fast as they
could. When they reached him, they got him onto the boat and sent him to
the hospital quickly. Luckily,Brett didn't hurt badly.
Doesn't Brett want to fly anymore because of the accident? It's
impossible. That's still his favourite.
1.When did the accident happen?
2. Where did Brett land in the accident?
3. What did Brett wear when he fell into the lake?
4. What do you think of Brett Easter? Why?Write more than 30 words.
