I lost most of my left leg, and was bleeding a lot. After three weeks in hospital, I finally could go home with a false (假的) leg. However, the fight was far from over. More of my left leg got worse. This made it harder to wear my false leg, so I gave it to a girl who couldn’t buy one for herself. The joy of being able to help others was greater than the happiness of wearing it myself.
People often tell me that they’re proud (骄傲的) of me for staying strong. But in my mind, staying strong has always been my only choice.
I still remember, on the day I left the hospital, I told myself to always live life to the fullest. So, I tried to help those around me in my own way. In 2021, I even started modeling (当模特).
