The new model has the maximum (最高的) speed of 80 kilometers per hour and the highest flight height of 3.1 km. It can carry one pilot and nine tourists.
During the first flight of AS700D, it took off smoothly and quickly climbed. Then, it flew about 50 meters above the Jingmen Zhanghe Airport for a while. Finally, it landed on the same place steadily. “The flight of the electric airship feels lighter and smoother, similar to the experience of driving a new energy car. It runs quietly, and both the piloting and riding experiences are more comfortable,” said Lin Hong, the pilot of the AS700D.
According to AVIC, the AS700D is environmentally friendly and it has lower noise. So it is a good choice for places with high environmental needs.
