Travelling to the moon has long been a dream for many people. Have you dreamt about your trip to the moon? Today, let’s follow Georges Méliès, a movie maker, to learn about his idea for a “trip” to the moon.
In 1902, the movie A Trip to the Moon by Georges Méliès came out. It holds an important place in the history of movie-making. Many people think of it as the first science fiction movie (科幻电影). The movie follows a group of scientists who travel to the moon. When they are learning about the moon, they get in trouble. A group of aliens (外星人) catch them. Luckily, they escape and finally find their way home.
Georges Méliès got the idea for the movie from two books-From the Earth to the Moon and Around the Moon. Now, as we have learnt many things about the moon, we know that some things in the movie are not right. For example, the moon in the movie appears to have the same gravity (重力) as the earth. It seems that the scientists don’t need any spacesuits (航天服) and can walk around on the moon easily.
It is clear to see that A Trip to the Moon is not scientifically true. Today, even with the things we know, movie makers are still “breaking the rules (规律) of science” and letting their minds run free. Science fiction movies are wonderful because they allow us to learn about and test people’s understanding and imagination of science. Maybe one day, the things in the movies will come true.
21. Why is A Trip to the Moon an important movie in history?
A. It made science fiction movies popular.
B. Many people say it is the first science fiction movie.
C. It showed the real look of the moon for the first time.
D. Many people have started to study the moon because of it.
22. When did the movie A Trip to the Moon come out?
A. In 1932. B. In 1922. C. In 1912. D. In 1902.
23. Where did Georges Méliès get the idea for his movie?
A. From two books. B. From his dream. C. From a true story. D. From a group of scientists.
24. What is wrong about the moon in the movie according to the passage?
A. The moon has no gravity. B. The moon has more gravity than the earth.
C. The moon has the same gravity as the earth. D. The moon has less gravity than the earth.
25. The writer wrote the passage mainly to ______.
A. describe how beautiful the moon is B. ask readers to take a trip to the moon

Do you know what AI stands for? It stands for artificial intelligence (人工智能).
In the past few years, the AI technology has developed very fast. As a result, AI writing is starting to shine in the online writing world. AI writing tools use natural language processing (处理) and machine learning to create stories at lightning speed (速度).
Nowadays AI writing has two big advantages. First, its quality and fidelity (质量和逼真度) are getting better, much closer to human-like levels, though it is still far from perfect. Second, AI writing speeds up the creation process.
However, every new thing comes with two sides, and AI writing is no exception. It can also bring some problems and challenges (挑战). The stories that are created by AI lack emotions (缺乏情感) and can’t always excite readers. AI can’t feel happy or sad like we humans do. So, its stories might not always connect with our feelings.
Liu Cixin, a famous Chinese science fiction writer, has his own idea about AI and AI writing. He thinks that AI can help human writers a lot with their writing to a certain degree. With the help of AI, they can save much time and energy. At the same time, he also points out that writing is still a human activity because humans can write about deep emotions, bright ideas and personal experiences, but AI can’t.

C. tell the story of a science fiction movie D. show the difference between the earth and the moon
