Learn to talk about your special day. Ss get the main idea from Helen’s picture. And think about how to talk about one’s special day. 2. Learn to use the past tense. Ss talk about activites they like and learn to talk about these activities with past tense. The activity arouse Ss interest with something common in their daily life. Watch and think: How did they spend their weekends? Ss complete the table and find out the other information they talked about. 4. Retell one of their weekends. And make choice through listening,. students can master the pronunciation of specific consonant sounds and the variations of the “ed” ending through focused listening and textual analysis. Homework Must-do: Write some activities you like and make clear about their past tense form. Practice the pronunciations of the consonants you learnt today.
