I’m very glad to hear from you. You want to know about my life in Grade 8. Now I’d like to tell you something about my favorite subject. My teacher, Mr. Rivera, has some ways to make us interested in his classes. I like his classes very much. Once, he gave the class homework—to watch the weather report on TV every night for a week. Mr. Rivera told us what to listen to when we watched each night’s weather report. He also gave us worksheets to fill out (要填写的记录表).
Mr. Rivera said that if we looked at the large weather map carefully, we could also know about the weather. He told us that we might see a large blue line (线) or a large red line on the map. My teacher, Mr. Rivera, has some ways to make us interested in his classes. I like his classes very much. Once, he gave the class homework—to watch the weather report on TV every night for a week. Mr. Rivera told us what to listen to when we watched each night’s weather report. He also gave us worksheets to fill out (要填写的记录表).
Mr. Rivera said that if we looked at the large weather map carefully, we could also know about the weather. He told us that we might see a large blue line (线) or a large red line on the map. There might be both a blue line and a red line. He said that a blue line shows there is dry weather in that place. A red line shows there is wet weather. When blue and red lines meet, there may be stormy weather.
