e.g. I like swimming. Are you ready?

Eating habits
民以食为天。一起来了解一下下面这些国家的饮食习惯吧。
Food is a main part of every culture. After all, everyone needs to eat! But each country has its own traditions regarding what people eat and when.
France
France is known for its fine food, and its people take food seriously. Most French people eat three meals a day at the same times and they almost never eat snacks between meals. Breakfast is a light meal of bread and coffee. They eat lunch at around 1 pm and a dinner with different courses (一道菜) after 8 pm
The French consider eating a social activity. They seldom eat alone, and never eat while doing something else. The French take time to enjoy their meals.
Brazil
Like the French, Brazilians typically eat a light breakfast. Lunch, the largest meal of the day, usually has meat, rice, potatoes and other vegetables. Between 6 pm and 8 pm, people enjoy a smaller meal with their families.
Brazilians don’t mind snacking and sometimes buy food from the street. But they always finish eating before walking away.
The United States
Americans’ ancestors (祖先) came from many countries, so American eating habits are different. Some take time to prepare and eat a hot breakfast. Others have some bread while rushing out the door, or just don’t eat breakfast. For lunch, most Americans eat a sandwich or leftovers. Traditionally, families got together for a large evening meal around 6 pm, but now a busy life makes it difficult to get together.
American restaurant portions (一份) are always huge. But you don’t have to finish them. Taking leftovers home is common.
As you travel, try out some local eating habits and enjoy the experience!

In our daily lives, there are many myths about food. Many people believe these myths, but they are not always true. Here are some common food myths.
Myth 1: Eating carrots helps you see better.
This myth comes from World War II. British pilots were said to be successful because they ate carrots. While carrots contain vitamin A, which is good for eye health, they do not actually improve your vision.
Myth 2: Chocolate causes acne.
Many people think that eating chocolate will make their skin worse and cause acne. However, scientific studies show that chocolate itself does not cause acne. Skin problems have something to do with what you eat and how you feel.
Myth 3: Not having breakfast is bad for everyone.
Many believe that not having breakfast is bad for health. However, research shows that the importance of breakfast is different from person to person. Some people feel fine without eating breakfast.
Understanding these myths can help us make better choices about eating.
