This thinking is wrong. I believe all students should know how to do housework. One day, they will have their own homes and should help keep them nice. Boys should learn housework too. What will they do if they stay single (单身汉)? Even boys who get married can help at home if they know housework. They won’t lose anything by learning—they’ll have useful skills for their life.
Look at students studying in other countries. All young men do housework just like girls do. Some might say, “We can pay someone to help.” Yes, but what happens if the helper leaves and you must do everything? You can’t just leave your clothes dirty, right? And what about studying in a country where it’s hard to find helpers?
We must learn to take care of ourselves. Why not start learning housework now? Everyone should learn these skills. What do you think, boys and girls?
81. According to the passage, why do some young people think doing housework isn’t their duty?
82. Who should learn housework according to the writer?
83. Why should boys learn housework? (Give two reasons)
84. What might happen when studying in a country where it’s difficult to find helpers?
85. Do you agree that all students should learn housework? Why or why not?
【答案】81. Because they see themselves as special above common people. 82. All students (should learn housework) 83. Because they may need to do it when single or help at home after getting married. Because they should have useful skills for their life (no matter whether they are single or married) 84. Students will have to do all the housework by themselves. 85. Yes, because it helps students be independent./No, because studying is more important.
【解析】本文批评了部分年轻人轻视家务的态度,强调家务是必备的生活技能,无论性别或未来婚姻状况都应掌握。作者通过举例如留学生活、单身汉困境,论证其必要性,并呼吁学生尽早学习。
81. 根据“They think doing housework shouldn’t be their duty because they see themselves as special above common people”可知,年轻人自视高于常人,故认为家务非己责。故填Because they see themselves as special above common people.
82. 根据“all students should know how to do housework”可知,所有的学生应该学习做家务。故填All students (should learn housework).
83. 根据“Boys should learn housework too. What will they do if they stay single ?Even boys who get married can help at home if they know housework. They won’t lose anything by learning—they’ll have useful skills for their life.”可知,单身需自理家务,婚后可分担家务并掌握生活技能。故填Because they may need to do it when single or help at home after getting married. Because they should have useful skills for their life.
84. 第三段假设帮手离开或难寻时,需自行处理如脏衣物等家务。故填Students will have to do all the housework by themselves.
85. 答案不唯一,合理即可。参考答案:Yes, because it helps students be independent./No, because studying is more important.

Qingcheng Mountain is famous for its peaceful
beauty. Covered with green trees and bamboo, it
feels wonderfully quiet. Small temples hide among
the forests. The mountain paths go through foggy
valleys. Visitors enjoy both natural scenery and
ancient Taoist culture. It truly earns its title as “the
most peaceful place under heaven”.
Mount Emei stands tall and beautiful. In spring, colorful
flowers grow everywhere. In winter, snow covers its tops
like silver. The golden Buddhist temples shine in the
sunlight. Monkeys play freely along the hiking paths. The
most amazing sight is the “sea of clouds” below the
mountain top. Emei is indeed “the most beautiful place
under heaven”.
Jianmen Pass cuts through high mountains. Tall
rock walls rise on both sides of a narrow path. In
ancient times, one soldier could defend against
thousands of enemies here. The stone path climbs
between huge rocks. Looking down makes visitors
feel scared. This natural fortress truly represents
“the most powerful place under heaven”.
Kuimen Gate marks the entrance to the Three Gorges. Huge
rock walls force the Yangtze River into a narrow path. The
water rushes through with amazing power. Boats seem tiny
against the tall mountains. Fog often hangs over the water.
This amazing view shows why it’s called “the most
dangerous place under heaven”.

Ibuprofen (布洛芬 ), as a medicine, is normally to help with pain (疼痛 ). But can you guess what the
“electronic (电子的) ibuprofen” is?
★ However, it is often healing (治愈的), interesting videos or cartoons that can make people feel relaxed
and warm when watching. After the cartoons become popular, the characters in them will always become the toys
in the blind boxes. Then young people often buy them to look for small surprises in a busy world.
Take the popular cartoon Chiikawa for example. In this cartoon, three cute animal friends always have
simple and heartwarming travel experiences. People loved the cartoon because it made them feel peaceful and
happy. Soon, it became even more popular through funny pictures and partnerships with some toy stores. Other
stores like Jellycat and Labubu also give similar fun. They make toys that aren’t only fun to play with but also
offer comfort and make people feel good inside.
Most people buy these toys for relaxation, but these toys do more than just bring happiness. They also help
people get away from everyday pressure and get to know others who share the same interests. This builds
friendships and makes people feel part of a group. In a world full of pressure, this “electronic ibuprofen” tells us
that finding small happiness can be enough to keep going forward.
51. Which sentence can we put in the “ ★ ”?
A. Itis a great medicine to help people online.
B. It isn’t common but can help people a lot.
C. It isn’t a kind of real medicine for people to take.
52. What is the right order of the event according to paragraph 2?
① Cartoon characters turn into toys.

Huang Xuhua, known as “Father of China’s Nuclear Submarine”, left us on February 6th, 2025 in Wuhan.
Born on March 12, 1926, in Guangdong Province, Huang grew up during the time when China faced many
difficulties. This made him study very hard, hoping to use what he learned to make his country stronger. In 1945
he entered Shanghai Jiao Tong University to study shipbuilding. In the 1950s, China started to develop nuclear
submarines. It was a very hard job. Huang was not afraid and stood up bravely. In 1958, Huang and his team
began working on the top-secret “09 Project”. They were not allowed to keep in touch with anyone outside, not
even their families. Huang couldn’t visit her mother for about 30 years. When he finally visited her, she was in her
90s.
Huang and his team met many other problems. For example, designing a nuclear reactor (核反应堆) was
very hard. They couldn’t get help from other countries, so they had to do everything by themselves. At last, in
1970, China’s first nuclear submarine was built and tested successfully, making China the fifth country to own a
nuclear submarine. Huang didn’t stop working after this success. He kept working on improving submarine
technology.
Huang spent his whole life developing China’s nuclear submarine, which encourages us to try our best to
make the country stronger. Let’s face difficulties bravely and work hard to build a much stronger China.

their own homes and should help keep them nice. Boys should learn housework too. What will they do if they stay
single (单身汉)? Even boys who get married can help at home if they know housework. They won’t lose anything
by learning—they’ll have useful skills for their life.
Look at students studying in other countries. All young men do housework just like girls do. Some might
say, “We can pay someone to help.” Yes, but what happens if the helper leaves and you must do everything? You
can’t just leave your clothes dirty, right? And what about studying in a country where it’s hard to find helpers?
We must learn to take care of ourselves. Why not start learning housework now? Everyone should learn
these skills.

Today, some young people live in their own small world. They hide in their books and feel good about themselves. They think doing housework shouldn’t be their duty because they see themselves as special above common people,
This thinking is wrong.
