教学过程
一、创设情境,展示目标
1.Greeting:
T: Hello, boys and girls. Welcome to my class, I’m your new English teacher. My name is Holly.
2.Waring up:
T: Let’s enjoy a water song together.
(设计意图:利用优美简单的英文旋律活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的学习兴趣。)
3.Free talk:
T: What can you hear from this song?
S: Water is all around us./ Let’s save water together./...
(设计意图:创设情境,导入本课主题,激活学生已有的背景知识。)
二、问题引领,自主学习
1.Task1: Think and answer. 任务1:思考问题并回答。
T:What do you know about water? Does water have any smell/taste/shape?
S1: Water has no smell.
S2: Water has no taste.
S3: Water has no shape.
T: You are so clever. Water has no smell, no taste and no shape.
(设计意图:本阶段的活动旨在帮助学生理解水的基本特征,为接下来更深入地学习水的来源与用途做铺垫。)
2.Task2:Watch and say.任务2:观看课文动画,回答问题。
T: This is our beautiful earth. Over 70% of the earth is covered(被覆盖) by water.
Can you say where does water come from?
Ss: rain/snow/sea...
T:Ms Guo is talking this questions with her students. Now let’s watch together and check the answer.
S1: Joe says “It comes from the sea.”
S2: Alice says “It comes from the rain.”
S3: Peter says “It comes from the tap.”
T:What else does water come from? Let’s enjoy some pictures and say.
S1: It comes from the lake.
S2: It comes from the river.

(设计意图:学生通过观看课文动画,验证预测,理解对话中关于水的来源的内容。根据图片,理解生词tap的含义。 教师进一步提问水的其它来源,引导学生联系生活,发散思维,完成关于水的来源的思维导图。)
3.Task3:Listen and complete.任务3:听课文对话,补全句子。
T:All of you are right. Water is all around us. Water is important. Can you say how
do we use water in our daily life?
Ss: wash face/brush teeth/cook food...
T: Super! Water is useful. Now let’s listen and find the answer.
S1: We use water to wash our hands. We use water to wash vegetables and clothes.
T: Do you know how do farmers and firemen use water?
S2: Farmers use water to grow crops.
S3: Firemen use water to put out fires.
(设计意图:学生在教师的指导下通过听对话及观察图片,从大意到细节,深入学习并理解对话内容。鼓励学生仔细观察图片,培养学生独立思考问题和观察图片的能力。)
4.Task4:Look and learn.任务4:观察图片学习生词。
(1)vegetables & clothes.
(2)use: How do we use water?
(3)grow crops:Look! The farmer is growing crops.
(4)put out fires: Look! The fireman is putting out fires.
(设计意图:学生借助图片及老师的引导理解生词:vegetables, clothes, use, grow crops,putout fires.结合句子帮助学生在语境中理解生词。)
三、合作探究,交流互动
1.合作内容:Work in five and practice the conversation.(act out the dialogue for three stars; read in roles for two stars; read together for one star.)
五人一组练习对话,五分钟后选择你喜欢的方式去读或者表演对话。(表演对话得三星;分角色读得两星;齐读得一星。)
2.合作要求:大声、准确、流利、有感情地朗读课文,形式不限,组内互相帮助,人人参与。
(设计意图:本阶段学习活动引导学生在归纳和整理核心语言的基础上,通过角色扮演使每位学生都能深入角色,运用语言理解意义。基础较好的学生可以尝试更加丰富的语言,促进语言内化,从学习理解过度到应用实践,为后面的真实表达做准备。)
