教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 英语 年级 五年级 学期 秋季 课题 M3 U8 An outing (Period 1) 教学目标 1.语言能力： 能在语境中正确运用本单元的核心词汇；能用现在进行时的特殊疑问句What are you doing?询问别人正在进行的活动并能作出回答。 2.学习能力：在听录音、看图说话、小组合作等活动中，再次复习现在进行时的结构及用法，并能运用所学句型对正在发生的事情进行描述。 3.文化意识：了解远足的相关信息，培养生活能力和环保意识。 4.思维品质：能在分析语篇的过程中感受人物的心理，并理解语篇背后渗透的热爱生活和追求美好的主题意义。 教学重难点 教学重点： 1. 掌握核心词汇：map, hill, lake,another, diamond等。 2. 能用What are you doing?询问别人正在进行的活动并能作出回答。 教学难点： 掌握阅读技巧及如何提取信息的技能，并能够对故事进行复述。 教学过程 一、新课导入 1.Enjoy a song. 欣赏歌曲An outing，引出本课主题。 2. T: What do we need for an outing? Where can we go for it? S：We need … We can go a … 谈论远足需做的准备，拓展出新单词hill, lake,和map，并运用拼读技巧拼读单词。 二、问题导学 1.T: Peter and his friends are having an outing. They are having a treasure hunt. Do you want to follow them? T: Where are they going? S: A hill. T: What colour is the hill? It’s name is Green Hill. 看主题图猜想远足地点，并透露主人公将要寻宝的信息，激发学生参与课堂的积极性。 2.Watch the video and put the pictures in order. 看视频整体感知，并给图片排序。 三、合作探究 精读课文，梳理信息。 P1:What is Peter doing? Where is the Big Stone? 1.抓住关键信息回答问题，同桌操练What are you doing? I’m reading the map. 并通过板书梳理课文。 P2:Who finds the Big Stone? What does Peter find? What does the letter say? 2.在模仿、操练句型Here’s the Big Stone. Here’s a letter.的过程中想象和 感受主人公的心理变化，从而展现出语言的独特表现力。 P3:What does Peter find? What does the letter say? 3.通过板书的“移步换景”，实现对文本的理解。 P4:What does the lake look like? 4.通过对象鼻山和云朵的描述来体会“be like”的用法及意义。 四、主题升华 T: Let’s imagine how they feel before the outing and during the outing.
