One day, Am maar Res hi was playing around with a chatbot called
hat
GPT, a computer
program that uses artificial intelligence (A I) to copy the way human think and write. Res hi wondered
if he could use the program to produce a children's book.
The idea for the book's story came from a conversation Re shi had with the chatbot, about girl

words into images.
A couple of days later, Re shi had completed a 12-page book, Alice and Sparkle. “Anyone can

Mid journey could be using their work without their permission.
“The main problem for me about A I is that it is trained on artists' work, ” illustrator Adriane Tsai
says. “They're our creations, our unique styles.that we did not agree to being used.”
Some companies are already choosing A I over human talent. The San Francisco Ballet used
pictures created by Mid jour ey to make its production of The Nu cracker known At a comedy club,

human writing, ” said a reporter.

全文反复强调节日是“celebration of life”,如首段“dance with caricatures of death...
enjoy every moment”和末段“the same message... celebration of life”,说明节日基调是“快乐地纪念逝
者”。
C篇

with your ears. The world would be quiet”,明确说明“安静”是第一年最显著的变化。
第三段提到“Power plants would stop working because no one would monitor them
and maintain a supply of fuel”,说明电力中断的原因是无人维护燃料供应。
第四段明确说明“Farm animals are very likely to become food for wild animals”,即

第三段提到艺术家对 AI艺术的批评(“worried” “the way the art was made”),第
第五段 Adriane Tsai直接指出“AI is trained on artists’ work...we did not agree to

选项 G 点明第一步的核心任务,与后文“Start by working out...”, “list all fixed
前文提到“variable expenses such as food, entertainment”,空格需说明这类支出的特性。
后文举例“saving for college, building an
expenses are less than earnings”的可行性要求。
后文“use apps to monitor expenses”, “review monthly“均为
根据后文“suffered a stroke”及“two marathons” 可知,Marco 在为马拉松
B. preparing(准备)
C. competing
A. energy(精力)不是“中风”的症状。
A. incident
B. injury(伤害;损伤)身体
C. failure(失败)与语境无关。D. accident(意外事故)通常指
A bitter苦涩的。B. colorful(多彩的)侧重“丰富多样”。C. challenging(有挑战性的)。D. peaceful
根据逻辑关系:“instead of”表转折,后文“ started on a journey of
A. self-doubt(自我怀疑)侧重“对
B.self-respect(自尊)与语境无关。 C. self-control
B. obvious
(明显的)、C. useful(有用的)、D. difficult(困难的)均无法体现“优先级” 关系。
选项辨析:A. passion(热爱)“apply one’s passion for...”
B. talent(天赋)虽
C. hope(希望)D. chance(机会)均不符合
语境。
根据逻辑关系:“strong desire to help stroke survivors” 是
B. driven(驱动)“be driven by”为固定搭配,意为“被……
D. allowed(允许)与语境
无关。
根据固定搭配:“be devoted to doing sth.”
B. used
C. devoted(全身心投入于)符合语境,正确。D. related(相关)“be related to”表示“与……
选项辨析:A. dream(梦想)“make a dream”搭配不当,应为“realize
a dream”。 C. reality
辨析:A. overcomes(克服)B. designs(设计)与“残疾人就业”的抽象概念搭配不当。C. changes
Marco
C. difficulties
选项辨析:A. ability(能力)。B.
life(生活)“newly found life”表示“新的生活”,呼应“重生”主题,正确。C. skill(技能)均
D. job(工作):范围过窄。
固定搭配:“serve as a reminder that...”
A. reminder(提醒)“提醒人们无论遭遇什么困
D. lesson
选项辨析:A. independent(独立的):虽符合“单手做饭” 等细
B. comfortable(舒适的)与 “克服困难”的
D. meaningful

follow。
62. are showed/shown 考查时态语态。

One possible version:
I opened it and saw a photo of us at the contest. Lucas smiled beside the model, his hand resting
lightly on the shuttle’s wing. Beneath the photo, a faded note read: “Proud of our teamwork” . My throat
tightened as I realized Lucas had known the truth about the prize money-and my lie all along. The album’s
pages whispered as I turned them, revealing a flood of memories: me giving him water when he was sick,
us sharing popcorn during our favorite movies...., He’d preserved every moment, not as a record of my
“help”, but as proof of our bond. I stared at the drone in the corner, guilt twisting in my chest.
“You knew I took the money?” I said quietly. My voice was cracking. Lucas looked up from his
suitcase, his expression soft. “I saw the drone the next day”, he admitted, “but I also saw how you’d stay up
late to help me with homework, or bring me soup when Mom was working.” He tapped the album’s cover,
“This matters more .” I whispered, “I’m so sorry I lied”. He smiled, placing a hand on my arm. “You’ve
always looked out for me. That’s what brothers do—even when one’s a little stubborn about drones.” We
laughed. That night, the gift card was left forgotten, but a lighter feeling filled the space between us.
Brotherhood isn’t defined by who gives more, it’s about seeing each other’s hearts, imperfections and all.
