单元语法
定语从句基本概念
1,定义:修饰名词 / 代词的从句,被修饰词为先行词,连接词为关系词。
2,关系词分类:
关系代词:who, whom, whose, which, that(作主语 / 宾语 / 定语)
关系副词:when, where, why(作状语,本单元侧重关系代词)
3,关系词作用:①连接主从句;②指代先行词;③在从句中作成分。
指人关系代词用法

必用 that 的情况:
1.先行词为不定代词(all, nothing, something...)
▶ I remember everything that he said.
2.先行词被 all/only/ 序数词 / 最高级修饰
▶ This is the first lesson that we learned.
3.先行词既有人又有物
▶ We talked about the people and places that we visited.
必用 which 的情况:
1.非限制性定语从句(逗号隔开)
▶ She has a cat, which likes sleeping.
2.介词后指物
▶ This is the box in which I keep my toys.
限制性与非限制性从句对比
类型 特征 例句
限制性 无逗号,修饰不可省 The boy who is tall is my cousin.

关键区别:非限制性从句中不用 that,指人用 who/whom,指物用 which。
主谓一致规则
1.关系代词作主语时,谓语与先行词一致:
▶ The flowers that were planted last week are blooming.(flowers 为复数)
2.特殊结构:
one of + 复数名词 + 从句(谓语用复数)
▶ He is one of the boys who are good at sports.
the only one of + 复数名词 + 从句(谓语用单数)
