专题07 任务型阅读 考点01 中考真题汇编 (一) (2025·湖北统考·中考真题)Would you rather live where it snows in winter or enjoy warm sunshine all year round? Some people prefer sunny weather. They think cold winters can be hard- short days make them sleepy and sad. The cold makes them stay inside, exercise less, and get sick easily. However, people in cold places find fun ways to enjoy winter! In Harbin, China, the Snow and Ice Festival starts in January and lasts until March. Artists cut ice from the Songhua River and build tall sculptures (雕塑) that are lit with colorful lights. By late December, visitors come to see this icy world filled with ice artworks and shining buildings. The beauty surprises them although it’s very cold! In Quebec, Canada, there’s an amazing Ice Hotel that is made of 2,300 ice blocks and 15,000 tons of snow! People love staying in its icy rooms for a special winter experience. (二) (2024·湖北统考·中考真题)Born in a small village, I saw how busy farmers were in spring, and what the season meant to them. Spring is a time when the land wakes up from its long sleep, and the fields are ready for crops (庄稼). If you are lazy in spring, you will get nothing in autumn. So, farmers seem to compete with time in spring. When I was a little girl, every weekend I was busy planting crops. Whatever it was, I had fun and learned a lot. For example, when we planted potatoes, we needed to cut the sprouted (发芽的) potatoes into pieces and made sure every piece of “seed” (种子) had one or two sprouts. It was really like a math game. Farm work is also teamwork. That’s why every spring field is busy with people of all ages working in it. While planting beans, my father dug small holes, and I carefully put some seeds into each hole. The work was hard and boring, but when we worked together, it seemed easier and more interesting. I felt magic of life in spring as well. In a few weeks, the seeds sprouted, encouraging us to care for them by watering and so on. As time went by, they grew into healthy plants. Because of these wonderful childhood experiences, I hold such a special feeling for spring. 1. is the best season to plant crops.(仅填1词) 2.If you don’t work hard in spring, you will .(不超过5词) 3.Fill in the blanks according to the passage. (三) (2023·湖北黄石·中考真题)Humans share the Earth with all kinds of wildlife and have lived in peace with them for thousands of years. Many of our animal friends may not be around for much longer, however, and many of them are in great danger. According to a study, the populations of animals including mammals (哺乳动物), birds and fish have fallen by an average of 60 percent since 1970. What’s worse, a study in 2014 found that species (物种) are dying out 1,000 times faster than normal. Sadly, it is because of humans that animals are in this situation now. By increasing human development, we may end up seriously harming the environment on which animals live and depend. Human development has caused pollution in oceans and three quarters of the world’s land to be affected (影响). The balance between animals and their ecosystems has been greatly harmed by humans. Luckily, many people have realized that our action in fact does harm to animals, risking our own lives as a result, so effective steps have been quickly taken to save both these endangered animals as well as ourselves. The World Wildlife Fund has called on governments and businesses to protect nature. In China, many natural reserves (保护区) have been built up and harmful behavior such as selling rhino horns (犀牛角), tiger bones and ivory has been banned (禁止). People have been taking steps in the right direction, which is encouraging news. The numbers of many animals have increased. The protection of animals still has a long way to go. In the end, to protect animals is to protect ourselves, and we should spare no effort toward living in harmony (和谐) with nature. 1.What do humans share with wildlife according to the passage? 2.In paragraph 2, how many studies are mentioned about the danger wildlife is in? 3.Who is responsible for the current (目前的) situation? 4.What has China done to save the endangered wildlife? 5.What is the writer’s purpose of writing the passage? 【答案】1.Sharing the Earth. 2.Two. 3.Humans. 4.In China, many natural reserves have been built up and harmful behavior such as selling rhino horns, tiger bones and ivory has been banned. 5.To tell/call on people to protect animals and live in harmony with nature. 【解析】本文主要介绍了人类的活动造成了野生动物的数量在减少,作者号召人们保护动物,与自然和谐相处。 1.根据“Humans share the Earth with all kinds of wildlife”可知人类与各种野生动物共享地球。故填Sharing the Earth. 2.根据“According to a study...What’s worse, a study in 2014”可知此处提到了两个研究。故填Two. 3.根据“Sadly, it is because of humans that animals are in this situation now”可知正是因为人类,动物现在才处于这种境地。故填Humans. 4.根据“In China, many natural reserves (保护区) have been built up and harmful behavior such as selling rhino horns (犀牛角), tiger bones and ivory has been banned (禁止).”可知在中国,已经建立了许多自然保护区,并禁止出售犀牛角、虎骨和象牙等有害行为。故填In China, many natural reserves have been built up and harmful behavior such as selling rhino horns, tiger bones and ivory has been banned. 5.通读全文可知,本文主要介绍了人类的活动造成了野生动物的数量在减少,作者号召人们保护动物,与自然和谐相处。故填To tell/call on people to protect animals and live in harmony with nature. Panda keepers are preparing milk for the baby pandas’ breakfast. At 9:00 a.m., they find that most of the babies are already awake and hungry. When the babies see the keepers, they run over to them with excitement and some of the young pandas even walk into their friends and fall over! They’re very special to me.” In fact, many people around the world love these black and white animals. Pandas have become so popular that they are now a symbol of China. Scientists say there are now fewer than 2,000 pandas living in the forests. Another 300 or so live in zoos or research centers in China and other countries. (六) (2023·湖北省直辖县级·中考真题)About 2300 years ago, the area around Chengdu had bad floods (洪水) in spring every year. Flood water from the mountains flowed (流动) down the Minjiang River and covered the land. Luckily, the Qin governor (太守), Li Bing, was a water engineer. The king of Qin provided the money and asked the governor to solve the problem. The usual method to avoid flooding is to build a wall across the river, called a dam. Special openings in the dam allow the flow of water to be controlled. However, the king had also asked Li Bing to make sure that ships could still use the river. This was necessary because the king needed to send food to his army. So Li Bing studied the situation and came up with a plan—a plan that still works today! Helped by his son, and tens of thousands of workers from the area, Li Bing built a man-made island in the middle of the river. This island was shaped like a fish and it divided the water into an inner and an outer river. The inner river was deeper than but not as wide as the outer river. It took four years to build the island. Li Bing also cut a new channel (运河) through Mount Yulei. This channel would take water away to irrigate (灌溉) the land in the flat farmland below. The rock of the mountain was very hard and difficult to cut. Li Bing used fire to heat the rock and then water to cool it quickly. This made the rock break into smaller pieces which could be carried away more easily. Cutting the channel took eight years! After Li Bing’s work was finished, there were no more floods, and the Dujiangyan irrigation system (灌溉系统) allowed the farmers to grow more and more food. The river flowed naturally, and because there was no dam, ships and fish could pass freely. Sichuan became the most productive area in China, as it still is today. Today, scientists and visitors from all over the world come to look at this wonderful example of engineering. This work and the name of Li Bing live on. 1.What was Li Bing’s job?(答题词数不超过11个) 2.Why did the king ask Li Bing to make sure that ships could still use the river?(答题词数不超过10个) 3.How long did it take Li Bing to cut a new channel?(答题词数不超过5个) 4.What does the writer think of the Dujiangyan irrigation system?(答题词数不超过12个) 【答案】1.He, the Qin governor, was a water engineer./He was a governor, a water engineer./A water engineer./A governor. 2.Because the king needed to send food to his army./To send food to his army. 3.Eight (8) years. 4.The writer thinks it is a wonderful example of (water) engineering./A wonderful (great) example of engineering./It’s wonderful(great)./Wonderful(Great). 【解析】本文主要介绍了都江堰的灌溉系统是如何来的。 1.根据“Luckily, the Qin governor (太守), Li Bing, was a water engineer. ”可知,他是秦国的太守,是水利工程师。故填He, the Qin governor, was a water engineer./He was a governor, a water engineer./A water engineer./A governor. 2.根据“This was necessary because the king needed to send food to his army. ”可知,因为国王需要给他的军队运送食物。故填Because the king needed to send food to his army./To send food to his army. 3.根据“Cutting the channel took eight years!”可知,他花了8年时间开辟了一个新运河。故填Eight (8) years. 4.根据“Today, scientists and visitors from all over the world come to look at this wonderful example of engineering.”可知,作者认为都江堰的灌溉系统/很棒/是水利工程的精彩实例。故填The writer thinks it is a wonderful example of (water) engineering./A wonderful (great) example of engineering./It’s wonderful(great)./Wonderful(Great). 考点02 2025年中考模拟 (一)(2025·湖北部分学校联考·二模) Most people learn good manners as children, but sometimes when they grow up, they forget to use them. However, it’s important to have good manners all the time, because they show kindness and respect for others. Saying “please” and “thank you” are among the simplest ways of being polite. They’re ways of showing that you notice and you are thankful for the nice things someone does for you. If you don’t, you’re treating someone like a servant who has to do whatever you say and you don’t care that someone takes the time to help you. When I was a child, I didn’t like writing thank-you notes every time my mom asked me to. But as an adult, I’ve received thank-you notes that always make me smile on hard days. I’ve learned that taking the time to write these notes is a great way to make someone feel loved and special. Saying “excuse me” is an easy way to get someone’s attention and show your good manners. Whether you’re asking for directions or needing help, starting with “excuse me” shows that you value the other person’s time and mind their feelings. This small phrase helps to continue the conversation freely. Sometimes, good manners may require silence. Listening to others carefully and silently shows that you value the person speaking. Also avoid disturbing someone who is talking with someone else in person or on the phone. In most cases, what they are talking about may be more important than what you have to say. Remember, good manners are not just about following rules; they are about making others feel valued and respected. 1. are important to show kindness and respect for others. (三) (2025·湖北十堰·三模)Last Saturday, I joined the city park volunteer team with my classmates. The sun was shining brightly, and we arrived at Green Lake Park early in the morning, excited to help. A park worker welcomed us and gave us tasks: some would clean the paths, some guide visitors, and my group was asked to collect litter near the lake. Wearing red volunteer hats, we started working. At first, I saw a plastic bottle stuck in the plants. It was hard to reach, but I carefully pulled it out. My friend Li Hua found a bag of snacks left on a bench and threw it into the correct trash bin. After working for several hours, we were tired but happy. Besides, preventing bad behaviors is also one of our activities. As we worked, we noticed some kids trying to feed the ducks with bread. We walked over gently and told them, “Ducks can get sick from too much bread. Let’s protect them together!” The kids nodded and said sorry, which made as feel proud. By noon, the park looked cleaner, and the sky seemed bluer. We sat on the grass, smiling happily. I realized small actions can make a big difference. Being a volunteer isn’t just about working: it’s about caring for others and our environment. When we left, the park felt like a place where everyone shared responsibility. This experience taught me that giving is also a form of harvest. Brahm, a documentary filmmaker from the US, looked for the answer in Searching for Kung Fu. In the movie, Brahm traveled to cities in China and the US to search for the value of kung fu. Brahm loves kung fu very much. He has been practicing it for over 40 years. Kung fu isn’t just something fun for him. A long time ago, he couldn’t use one of his legs for two years. More and more activities are being held online today, so it’s important for us to have an understanding of the rules of good manners online. These rules help to have good communication and keep healthy relationships. Firstly, being polite on the Internet should be as common as in real life. Unluckily, that is not the case in many situations. A large number of people like to use the Internet as a cover. It leads to them writing what they would never say in public. A key part of good manners online is being as polite as you are in person. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, don’t say it online either. When you speak online, saying too many unnecessary words can result in your point getting lost in the text. So, it’s best to use short and clear sentences when trying to explain something online. Then people will be able to understand your point more easily and there will be less chance of misunderstanding. Treat other’s private information the same way you would want someone to deal with yours. You shouldn’t give the private information of your classmates or teachers to anyone online. This means being careful with passwords, private conversations and pictures. Of course, the same is true for information about yourself, as it can be dangerous to give others any of it without thinking. The online community has its own set of rules, which are necessary with any online communication you have. I admired him. He not only made great achievements in his field, but also came up with creative teaching methods to inspire students.” One day, a student got out of the professor’s office with a lot of books. At 9:00 a.m., they find that most of the babies are already awake and hungry. When the babies see the keepers, they run over to them with excitement and some of the young pandas even walk into their friends and fall over! Lin Wei, one of the panda keepers, says, “They’re so cute and lovely. I take care of them like they’re my own babies. I wash, feed and play with them every day. They’re very special to me.” In fact, many people around the world love these black and white animals. Pandas have become so popular that they are now a symbol of China. Scientists say there are now fewer than 2,000 pandas living in the forests. Another 300 or so live in zoos or research centers in China and other countries. Pandas do not have many babies, maybe only one every two years. The babies often die from sicknesses and do not live very long. Adult pandas spend more than 12 hours a day eating about 10 kilos of bamboo. Many years ago, there were a lot more bamboo forests and pandas in China, but then humans started to cut down these forests. As the forests get smaller and other human activities cause more problems, pandas cannot find enough to eat and they are having fewer babies. An education program in Chengdu teaches children about pandas and other endangered wild animals. They send people to schools to tell children about the importance of saving these animals. In America, 151.8 million phones go to waste in just a year. And the number is still increasing year by year. So how to recycle the wasted mobile phones safely is worthy of further discussion. Wasted mobile phones actually have “two faces”. On the one hand, wasted mobile phones can be taken as valuable materials because many of them are rich in valuable metals which can be reused. What’s more, other parts of wasted mobile phones can also be made into beautiful things with creativity. On the other hand, if they are not properly dealt with, wasted mobile phones will become a huge source (来源) of pollution. And heavy metals may enter the soil (土壤) and groundwater. The ancient Chinese thinker Laozi once said, “The highest goodness is like water,” known as“shàng shàn ruò shuǐ” inChinese. It reflects the deep respect Chinese people have for water. Water is soft but strong. It goes around rocks and other things in its way. It does not push but finds a path. This teaches us to be flexible (灵活的) in life. When we have problems, we should be like water and find answers without fighting. Water is selfless. Water is needed for life. It helps plants, animals, and people grow. In the same way, Chinese culture values helping others without expecting anything back. Water reminds us to give and share. As the Chinese proverb says,“When you drink water, think of where it comes from,” teaching us to be thankful to the people to help us. But water can also be very powerful. In ancient times, Chinese rulers also believed, “Water can carry a boat, but it can also sink it,” meaning that people’ s support is important to a leader’ s success. It was not easy to bring it back to health. But whenever you give it a chance, nature returns. Finally, the tree made it. When it was strong enough, we took it to our new house. In the spring, its branches are bright with white flowers. It reminds us of what we have lost on that terrible day. But it is also a symbol of the power of nature—and there is hope for new beginnings, even in the darkest moment. 50 years have passed. My children have all gone to other places and have their own families. That pear tree is still there and brings sweet fruits every year. This raises a question: If we truly value time, why do we allow screens to take up so much of it? Once I planted myself in front of the screen all the afternoon, lost in short videos on my phone. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel any happiness or relaxation. I felt so bored that there seemed to be a “hole” in my life. That’s when I began to make up my mind to break the habit of phone addiction (瘾). A hundred percent break isn’t possible at first. So my plan is to cut down on the phone time as much as possible. My first rule is quite simple: Do not pick up the phone just out of habit. I use it only when necessary, like doing the listening exercises, checking the meanings of a new word and so on. Then I set daily limits on screen time, such as one hour a day. I also try to find other activities to fill my free time. Too often, we just see the phone as a tool to shake off boredom. The result of my cutting down on phone time has turned out to be more interesting. After keeping the plan for just a few days, I’ve read two books. But by practicing kung fu, he slowly got better. Now, kung fu is a part of his everyday life. He starts each day with it. He believes kung fu helps people feel strong and healthy by connecting their bodies to the world around them. Kung fu also has deeper meanings. One important idea is peace. You can see this idea in the Chinese character (汉字) for kung fu. The Chinese character Wu (武) is made up of two characters——“ge” means “to fight”, and “zhi” means “to stop”. It shows that they have no hidden weapons (武器) and that they trust others. “Kung fu, in my eyes, is not only a way to have fun and keep healthy but also a mirror of Chinese culture.” Brahm told Xinhua, “The traditional values of kung fu, actually, are in the minds of all Chinese people. For the most part, you should remember to be polite, express yourself clearly and protect private information. 1.It’s important for us to have an understanding of the of good manners online.
