一 教学目标:
By the end of this section, students will be able to:
1. describe the development of the Internet;
2. analyze and summarize the changes of Internet use;
3. write a report on Internet use.
二 教学重难点:
1. To learn how to describe the changes in a chart;
2. To describe the trends and draw conclusions.
三 教材分析
“Integrated Skills Reporting on Internet Use”选自译林版2020年高中英语必修三Unit three。该单元围绕互联网展开,此部分聚焦互联网使用情况。通过一段讲述互联网发展简史的录音,锻炼学生获取关键信息的能力 ,帮助其了解互联网发展历程。还会借助近五年互联网应用变化的图表,培养学生解读图表、提取信息、描述图表内容的能力。这部分内容旨在通过听、看、说、写等活动,让学生分析概括互联网使用变化趋势,掌握报告类文体特征并撰写报告,提升综合语言运用与思维能力。
四 学情分析
学生对互联网话题较熟悉,但英语水平参差不齐。部分学生基础好、积极性高,部分学生词汇语法薄弱、学习被动。他们具备一定英语基础能力,但在复杂听力阅读、流畅口语表达和规范写作方面仍有不足,自主与合作学习能力也有待提升。

Bar charts(条形图) are often used to show how something changes over time or to compare different things.
1.According to the chart, travel booking has increased the most(增长最快) during the last five years.
2. Entertainment has had slightest change(变化最小) during the last five years.
3.Five years ago, people used the Internet the most for its searching engine . Now, people used searching engine for the most too.
4.During the past five years, email has decreased the most(减少最快).

八 教学反思
讲授必修三Unit 3 Integrated skills“Reporting on Internet Use”后,有诸多思考。借助“history - changes - future”框架引导,学生对互联网使用报告有了思路,但也暴露问题。部分学生在专业词汇运用和信息整合上吃力,小组协作时,基础弱的学生参与度低。
后续要优化分层任务,针对不同水平学生设计梯度练习,强化词汇与逻辑训练;还可引入更多真实互联网报告案例,让学生模仿分析,提升实践能力,同时丰富互动形式,激发全体学生积极性 。
