A recent study found that Chinese people are going to bed later than before. The average bedtime in February 2025 was 12:18 am, which is 17 minutes later than last year. The study, done by the Chinese Sleep Research Society (CSRS), asked over 150,000 people who used smart watches or other health devices.
The results showed that 80% of college students sleep after midnight. One in four stays up until 2 am, and 33% wake up after 9 am. Experts say smartphones are a big problem. Students who use phones more often go to bed later.

She suggested keeping the bedroom cool and dark, listening to soft sounds, and having a set bedtime.
