【What】以Social Media Detox一文,该文章是一组网络论坛帖子,属于论坛专题讨论。围绕布伦顿高中为新运动器材筹款活动而开展为期七天的“社交媒体脱瘾”活动,五位参与该活动的学生在论坛上分享了自己的经历与感受。以“论坛主持人提问--五位参与该活动的学生分享自己的经历和感受--主持人总结”的结构行文,其宏观的信息布局呈现“总-分-总”结构,其中第二板块内五位学生的帖子以并列关系呈现。在语言方面,主持人的用语比较正式,而学生分享的论坛帖子则更口语化、情感化。

优点:
围绕新课标下的 “英语教学活动观”,学生主动参与课堂互动,特别是在读后采访环节,学生为小组活动做了积极认真的准备。通过小组展示,学生更加明确了使用各种社交媒体的利与弊,促使学生认真思考今后如何更好地、更科学合理地使用这些社交媒体,使青少年健康发展。
缺点:
在某些活动的设计中,部分环节花时间较多,要是各个环节之间紧凑一些,就能为采访活动展示留出更多的时间·
改进:
今后应更加结合学生的发展,合理设计教学环节,尽量使所有学生都能参与到课堂中来,提升学生英语学习的信心和兴趣。
