2. 观察描述章鱼外观特征和特殊能力的句式表达,并运用所学介绍其他奇妙动物;

产出:小组合作介绍一种奇妙动物。
课前学习任务
1.工具准备:制作奇妙动物介绍卡的工具(卡纸、胶棒)

Text 1: Hummingbirds are special birds mostly found in Central and South America. They are very small, the smallest species(种类) is only 5 cm long. Their name comes from the humming sound their wings make. They can beat their wings up to 80 times a second.
Text 2: The bloodhound is a breed of(一种) dog. They are famous for their amazing sense of smell and ability to track(追踪) people over great distances(距离). Bloodhounds have millions of scent receptors(嗅觉感受器) in their noses, making their sense of smell much better than humans. They are used by police to track missing persons or suspects(可疑分子).
Text 3: Polar bears have much white fur (毛)and fat for warmth. They have large claws(爪子) for swimming, sharp claws for hunting(打猎), and special smell to detect(发现) food over long distances.
Text 4: Dolphins have smooth(光滑的) skin, a fin, and a beak-like(鸟嘴型的) mouth. They have special sonar(声呐) for navigation(导航), excellent swimming speed, and are known for their intelligence(智力) and social behavior.
