Living in a dirty home is not fun. It means you’ll spend a lot of time looking for things and cleaning your home. It also means you can’t relax fully in your home. Here are some helpful tips for tidying your home.
Choose the question or way that works best for you. The point is to consider the things in your home with a critical (批判的) eye and question their reasons for being there.
There is a 5-point “mess scale” to decide whether an object stays in the home: things that must be there, things used daily, things used from time to time, things seldom used but you want to keep and things never used. With the scale, it becomes easier to clean out the unwanted things.
Make clear what can be given away to friends, or to charity, or resell through online marketplaces. Always clean those unwanted things before selling and try to repair them if possible. Rubbish should be the last way.
One excellent rule is “one in, one out”. While people like to have more in case one day the things are needed, it leads to mess and disorder. A better way is to keep one of each thing you need. You’ll always know where it is because there’s fewer things in the house with certain places.
24.Which of the following is NOT the disadvantage of living in a dirty home?

What is the most stressful thing in school? It is probably exams. 36 But some students do better under stress, while others do not. Why?
It’s all because of dopamine (多巴胺). 37 It plays an important role in our learning and remembering things.
Our brains (大脑) work best when there is a balance (平衡) of dopamine — not too much or too little. 38 It either takes out dopamine quickly, or bit by bit. Exam success has a lot to do with how fast dopamine goes back to a balance.
39 If you become stressed, your brain will make too much dopamine. The more quickly you are able to go back to a balance of dopamine, the more quickly you can focus (集中), helping you do better on a test.
Scientists found that, during a test, if people slowly got back to a balance of dopamine, they scored (得分) less. 40 But don’t worry. The study also found that the more practice you get, the less stressed you will be.
A.Exams can put us under a lot of stress.
B.What happens when we take an exam?

D.Doing exercise is good for our brain and body.
