What’s the name of the story? The Fisherman and the Golden Fish A short video adapted from the tale. How much do you know about the story? The Fisherman and the Golden Fish Alexander (Aleksandr) Pushkin (1799-1837) Pushkin was a 19th century Russian poet, playwright, and novelist. His tale The Fisherman and the Golden Fish was originally a poem, published in 1833. The moral of the story is to be grateful for what you have. Even if one is lucky enough to catch a golden fish, being too greedy can spoil that great opportunity. • What kind of text is it? A. A story. B. A play. C.
